Tried and True Forever
I have used this recipe for many, many years, introducing and sharing the special goodness with my grandchildren, making the cookies a special request often. The "Enticer" for me is the cakey side of the cookies (that, to my chagrin, some reviewers I've come across find unappealing) which is what sets them on a pedestal far above any other oatmeal cookies for me. It's only since retiring that I am finding the missed opportunities to give credits where credits are due. I don't have any creative experiences that I see others have wonderfully shared, except that I substitute an abundant amount of walnuts for the raisins and most recently substituted baking powder for baking soda - 3 tsp. powder for 1 tsp. of soda - to make bars instead of cookies, and guess what? The cakiness I prefer reigned supreme!!! Whatever type of oatmeal cookie is your delight, it can definitely be found by using the Vanishing Oatmeal Cookie recipe as a template for years!

Great product but received in bad condition
The oatmeal box was crushed and opened a gap which allowed product to spill. I felt it was not safe to use therefore discarded it. It was not possible to know if it was shipping or tampering. Not worth filing a claim. I like the product and brand, but security first.

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/02/2022Love them!I can't imagine a cheaper, quicker, healthier breakfast than oatmeal so it goes without saying that I always have oats on hand. Plus I regularly use them for homemade banana or pumpkin muffins! The only reason for not getting all the stars in my book is that oats are oats so I always buy the cheaper, generic brands of oats!joannah60

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/19/2022Great product without a resealable lidThis is packaged a little better then the old way in the cardboard tube for food storage but not as easy to use for everyday storage. It doesnt have a resealable lid which is why i didnt give it 5 stars. The flavor is the same and its a great product. My kids eat oatmeal twice a week and they love it.Mike

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/07/2021I really prefer OldI really prefer Old school Oats. I like its texture and the flavor is perfect, not too sweet. I eat it sometimes like cereal and add banana. Sometimes add it to my protein smoothie. Oats are recommended for their high fiber, protein, vitamin B and antioxidantsUnknown
