Great beginner's model
Let me start out by saying this is my first drone owned. Although this was a new experience, I have owned plenty of RC cars, boats and planes in my lifetime. Although I don't have any other drones to compare this to, I have a good understanding of what to expect. Let me firstly say not to get discouraged when you the remote and the drone don't pair up. It took me a little while to realize you cannot use the common alkaline batteries due to the frequency they put out, and instead need to buy carbon batteries. After you get the correct batteries in the remote, but before you launch the drone for the first time and have it fly quickly and with purpose into a tree on the other side of your yard, realize that the propellers that were installed in the factory weren't necessarily installed correctly. In other words, there are "A" and "B" propellers, which both need to be in certain spots. My propellers were not in the correct spots, which meant it wouldn't and couldn't hover properly out of the box. With proper batteries and the propellers now in the proper spots, things now work as they should. It also took me a while to figure out that you need to frequently calibrate the drone, because if you don't the horizontal calibration will be off and the drone won't hover in place. Even calibrated, the slightest of breezes sends this off in a different direction, but this is a very light drone. If it wasn't very light, I'm sure it would not have survived the several crashes down to the ground from 10 feet. I feel more confident with it now, and it's more fun to use as a result. I have 3 gripes: 1) the live video stream on your smartphone while flying is not smooth. Because the video is so choppy, I would never feel comfortable flying this solely based on the screen view, but instead feel the need to always have it in sight. 2) the camera is not stellar. It does decent from about 6 feet, but from about 20 feet (see the uploaded picture of my dog), it gets very grainy. 3) Lastly, this kills the battery of your smartphone quickly, so make sure that's also fully charged before you go out to play! All in all, I'm not knocking down stars simply because this is something where "you get what you pay for". It's a introductory model, so one should have introductory expectations!

WORTHLESS. ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS
Biggest waste of money EVER. Battery dies in 10mins. no way to turn off the controller so your only option is to take the batteries out after every use. makes it look like it comes with a screen but actually you need a phone. a small phone. the box doesn't indicate what color it is. If walmart will let me I will be returning it. do not purchase!

    good drone,didn't come with everything
    Worth the money can take it with me almost anywhere and other then the charger melting and almost catching fire from a power bank that was 2.4 A. I accidentally plugged it into once for maybe a few seconds so when it says 1.5 amp charger only they me 1.5 amp ONLY. But out side if that I can't say I've had a problem with the drone it self but I can say they only shipped me one battery was supposed to be 2 of em but the drone it self is still kinda almost worth it for it size and the portability it has with it's own zip up case n everything I'd buy again if it had both battery's

    Interesting drone.. need some good hands on !!
    This is a fun toy and its my first ever drone that I got to operate. Its easy to setup and use however it needs good practice to make full use of it. It uses app for camera and so far its working good and it would have been more worth to have a more better camera however with this price its good enough. The controls are smooth and once you get used to it, you don't need to see the controller and we can watch only the drone. Very light-weight, Good design and Quality is really good for the price Overall nice drone with good value for money

    easy to maneuver
    This drone is easy to maneuver and comes with an extra battery. My kids got drones for Christmas and they were almost impossible to maneuver, even with a thorough manual read. I was shocked at the contrast with this one. as long as it isn't fighting too much wind, it's easy to get it to go just where you want it and the learning curve to get it paired with the remote and in flight is almost nil. I have not used the camera function because I didn't buy it for that,, but will update this review if I try it and that is unsatisfactory to me, but for indoor and outdoor flight, it is great.

    Misleading list price. This is a cheap drone.
    The list price is absolute nonsense. There isn't a reality, planet or dimension where this thing lists for anywhere near $195. It's worth almost exactly the $38 w/free shipping that I paid, less if anything. Easy enough to control, but the quality feels extremely cheap.

    fun drone for adult
    Fun drone for adult. Relatively stable and easy to fly comparing to the early drones years ago, especially the automatic and headless mode. I would say this is mainly for indoors flying only. Camera is a fun add on for the explorers. This is not a toy for young kids, need some basic skills to master it.

    Great quality drone.. Kids love it!!
    This drone is suitable for beginners to learn. It is very easy to operate and the price is reasonable too. We and our kids love to play with this drone a lot. This drone is possibly the easiest one of my other drones to fly. This drone comes with two batteries and one battery lasts for about 15-20 minutes. So, it is a fun time playing for 40 minutes. The drone is very easy to assemble. Most of it is already assembled, just few parts need to be attached. You only need batteries for the remote control. Before you start playing with it, go through the instruction manuals and make yourself familiar with your new drone controls. Video and photo quality is great for its size. My phone also connected quickly and easily to the app. Video from the camera is bright and clear. The drone is quick, responsive and very steady in flight. I was testing it in a significant breeze, and it was easy to handle. Overall, Its a good choice for fun, recreational flying.

    Great drone and great value!
    Ive used serval drones in the past and I can say that I honestly really liked this drone. The fact that it isnt chargeable using miniusb is awesome and the fact that it only uses 2 AAA batteries is cool. Right out of the box it had some charge which I tested. And it does a really good job hovering with no trimming needed . Calibration was super easy . All in all great drone for the price

    Good quality drone for great price
    The form factor of the drone is amazing very. Considering as the drone is lightweight build quality is really good. It has a good lasting battery it gives around 16 mins of flight time plus it has an extra backup battery pack included. It has an impressive number of features at the price. Overall it is a good drone at amazing price.
