Lots of Fun!
This game was very different than what I was expecting, but...it was a lot of fun! First - game play. This game is very complex. We played with 6 players (we were all new to this game, and 5 of us new to this type of game) and the game took a long time. I think the game might actually be better with 3-4 players, but everyone wanted to try it! As the game went on I enjoyed it more and more, and I'm excited to play it again. I also appreciated that each Villain has their own objective or goal - it kept the game interesting and made me want to try playing with other characters. I think this may be one of those games that is more fun each time you play it! Also looking forward to expansion packs - Cruella de Ville anyone? Second - game quality. I was given this game in exchange for my honest review, but the quality of the game is high. The boards and pieces are substantial and don't feel like they will break. The card decks are well made and the illustrations and colorful and very beautiful. Only downside - I wish they provided bags for all the cards, and I wish the player guides were cardboard instead of paper (both minor issues). Overall - I think this is a full game, and I'm excited to keep playing it and develop a strategy for each Villain.

It's a bit complex, I think, but my 13 year old daughter really wanted to try it. It is best for at least 3 players

    Villainous
It has a lot of steps to it but if you have the patience it is fun once you get the hang of it.

    New favorite game!
Wow! I'm impressed! I was looking for a game I could play with just two people during the pandemic and this one was a hit! You can play in groups but also just with two people. It's so fun to put on a Disney movie and play. It's easy to learn and a great time for anyone involved. I'll be getting the spin-off games for new characters. Highly recommended!!

    Great family game
This is tempting for little kids because of the familiar characters but too complex. They will need to partner up with a parent or older sibling

Great Game Addition to any Home!
Great board game! Good for either teens or adults! The gameplay is exciting and interesting and does require a good amount skill and strategy to win. The fact that you can get expansion packs and play different characters definitely adds on to the enjoyment and playability.

Creative gameplay, high production value. Keeper!
This is a keeper! Wonderful artwork and production values. Solid gameplay mechanics that feel familiar but still original. Decent fun with 2 players and great with larger groups (provided they can take back-and-forth in-game conflict with a good sense of humor.) Unique game mechanics that balance working towards your own goals and thwarting your opponents' plans. A bit of a learning curve with the rules and icons, but after a few plays will feel intuitive. Minor complaints with the storage and organization in the box, but by no means a deal breaker. Suggested age range is accurate. Rules and strategy may be too involved for very young kids. Pick it up, especially if you're a Disney fan! [This item was received as part of a promotion.]
