Not a good buy!
I've ordered this product and returned them for repair after receipt and testing three times already! Very poorly manufactured.

    Disappointed
    This typewriter the line mechanism on it stops working half way down the page. Also it skips letters while typing. I am returning it for a replacement to see if they all are like that or what.

    Dry as ink
    I guess because people don't use typewriters anymore, that is the reason why the ink was dry like a dessert. I had to buy a new one

    Apparently a used machine
    Unable to judge. By the quality of the type and condition of the tape it appears to be a used machine. To be returned. Carriage return is very loose.

    Functional, but takes a strong touch.
    It seems well constructed, and has an attractive type font. However, it is not an easy touch. I had to return mine because I have arthritis in my hands, and it was too hard for me to push down the keys to type freely. I will add that my teen son loved it and would have been happy to keep it.

    Quality at it's best!
    After returning another typewriter (USA made, different company) which was immensely disappointing, I am so happy to report this Royal Classic was truly a quality item. Made of metal, rather than plastic, all the keys worked without sticking - everything worked superbly!!! Wish I had gone local Walmart the first time.

    Adorable old school vibe
    I absolutely love this! It is sturdy and beautiful. It is important to remember that this is not a laptop or computer keyboard, it take a different skill set to use, but I absolutely love it!!!
