Good basket, but took to long to arrive
Good basket. My other one broke, which was identical but 15 years older. Lasted a long time. Label on the old basket said size was 1BU, and the one I ordered was 1.5BU. But when it arrived they were both exactly the same (which was fine with me). I ordered Store Pick-up. It seemed a bit unreasonable to take a whole week for a laundry basket to arrive at the store. I figured they should have had a laundry basket in stock at the store, and was actually hoping I could pick it up same day or next day -- as I have done in the past with other items I ordered. I checked up on my order multiple times a day, but took a few days before the order was even shipped and on its way.

Broke after only a couple months of careful use
I was delighted to find this size Rubbermaid basket, as I think a more shallow model is more common. Loved my last Rubbermaid basket (still larger than this one), which lasted > a decade. Super disappointed, after this expensive a basket, to have it crack in a couple months.

    Over priced but very good quality
    This is a quality basket. Heavy duty in every way. But way over priced for a plastic basket.

    old reliable
    We had this same basked for about 15 years before it broke, so got the identical one. It does seem a bit less sturdy than the predecessor, but hopefully it lasts just as long.

    Great laundry basket
    This basket is sturdy and well made. I bought a different brand prior and it lasted less than a year. I love the hip bigger as it is easier to carry up and down the stairs

    A good, well-sized basket that is easy to carry
    This laundry basket is about the same size as the old blockier 1.5 bushel Rubbermaid basket that I have used for years. It feels a little sturdier. It fits well under the doors to my washer and dryer, unlike the larger Rubbermaid Hip hugger basket. It has the reinforced handles that are on my old hip hugger 1.5 bushel baskets, both of which broke at the handle when I lifted them while empty. Rubbermaid says that its warranty is only a year, now. So there is a good possibility that this basket, like its immediate predecessors will not last the way old Rubbermaid could be depended upon to last.

    My favorite!
    I love this 3 handle laundry basket, it is just as easy to use as a single handed hip-hugger as it is two handed in front of you. Even if you have a big belly because of the curvature it will be comfortable. Unfortunately because of it being an older design it is expensive now. Wish they would bring it back into style. Also the only problem I run into is that the colored part of the handles can fall off. But with patience will snap right back into place. As with all laundry baskets, use common sense as to how much you carry in it. I have my original 2 baskets for over 20 years now. Added this 3rd one because I always seem to need an extra basket.

    Great size and style, but handles are cracking
    Comfortable and perfect size! Bought some time ago, but plastic around the handles has started to crack and break which is unexpected for RubberMaid brand. Durability is usually much higher for RubberMaid than cheap competitors.
