Easy update
Overall impressed with the results! We added about 3 coats of poly and our counters look great. Also left untouched for an extended time (1 week) since we were out of town. Started Friday and spent Saturday and Sunday retouching and applying poly. Resumed normal use the following Sunday and there is no evidence of nicks or scratches. The process is time consuming but the results are great for the price. Will add that we actually went through two cans because the first attemlt in "pewter" was nearly purple. Second attempt in "putty" (shown) gave desired results.

Avoid This Item
This product should not be made. The end product looks like regular paint on Formica. I recommend anyone with kitchen counter top problems use high quality stick on contact paper. Avoid this product you will be disappointed. I would compare the quality of the finish to that of a $199 paint job for your car from a discount auto paint place. From a distance it looks ok but when you look close it looks awful and when you touch it feels , well, painted.

    Better than installing new countertop
This gave a good enough result to be able to hold off having a new countertop installed for a few years. I sanded and used deglosser to prep. Don't be in a hurry and have good ventilation. It takes a long time to dry and smells pretty bad. We moved our parakeets into a back room for 3 days. The instructions say you can use a foam roller or brush. I used a foam pad that started disintegrating and leaving bits of foam in the paint. A mess to clean up and had to start over. Still, after 3 days, the counter looked much better . It was worth it.

    Does NOT come with TINT
Comes only with base white tint ... needed to change color. Have to take can to a store to get color changed.
