Great Monitor
i find this monitor the best for the price (a little high) the picture is something else. i have not noticed any flickering, some write about. i love the accent lights. the curve was the game changer, it makes a difference. the quality is all over it. i recommend a wall mount, more stable.

Dead Pixel in 3 months
after purchasing this "top of the line" monitor about three months ago, it is plagued with issues. flickering does not stop and furthermore, dead pixels. the quality control of this product is mind-boggling terrible. i thought i'd be a lucky one and win the lottery but nope. please, do yourself a favor and find another brand that has better customer care and quality control. do not purchase this product. do not purchase this product.

    My Monitor looks used!!!!
    I just got this shipped to me today and can't say I am too happy. The monitor was really dirty, almost like they sent me a refurbished one. The Samsung logo/buttons was also not on completely, but I was able to snap it back on. Terrible unboxing experience. I really hope they did not send me a used monitor as I do purchase a bit with Samsung and have never had an experience this bad before. So I go to set it up and what do I find....a dead pixel.....needless to say, I am incredibly disappointed my the quality control of this monitor. I was hoping this one would be the one I would hopefully replace all my monitors with in the furture, but not anymore. I am willing to update my review if I can get a resolution to this terrible quality control.

    Love this thing.
    I was sceptical first because of the plannel type. (VA) but coming from multiple ips monitor I can assure you the colors and black levels of the G7 cnt be matched. I love the motion clarity, it is so good I use it without gsync or freesync.

    Awesome monitor! Needs better quality control
    I've got the G7 and the G9 and love them both, great monitors overall, but….with my purchase of the G7 Curved. After about 5 months of owning this monitor I started noticing a white line developing at the top on my screen. After another 2-3 months I found that the screen is literally pulling away from the monitor base. I would say, this monitor is totally worth in a flat panel version only. Due to the 1000R curve and the lack of quality control I'm stuck with a great monitor that I can't stand looking at. Even thought about purchasing another one with a longer warranty but still the chance of the screen coming off the base of the monitor is always on the back of my mind. Samsung needs to make things right with this curve or give people a better factory warranty with these curved ones. If someone wants to reach out and contact me with a way to repair or fix my screen, I would be willing to pay for repair if it's possible. But I won't buy another one, Alienware2721D looking pretty good even at the higher price.

    Crisp Graphics! Fast Response!
    Odyssey G7 Monitor just about every day! I use it for school and gaming! The large display is optimal for split screen for school programs and the refresh rate is amazing for gaming. Truly an amazing monitor!

    Curve is honestly kinda nice
    I primarily use my monitor for gaming and watching videos. The curve is surprisingly nice to be in front of, but is limiting if I wanted to have three of them do to the extreme curve. The colors are nice, but could use a little bit better accuracy. My main problem with the monitor is the quality control of the panel. I bought mine brand new and it came with two dead pixels.

    Great when it was working.
    beautiful 240hz 1440p screen that died after a month of use. it ran well with a rtx 3090 high frames. just today august 10,2022 i was headed to bed so i went to wake my pc but the screen would not start. i took my oc to the leaving room to see ehat was up and it booted normally. i proceed to test the screen and troubleshoot a bit. the backlight comes on but screen remains black and the osd no longer shows up. second samsung screen i own. my first crg9 the big ultrwide had a huge gap where the backlight bleed through. samsung has very poor quality control. now i'm stuck paying for a dead monitor. samsung should offer a no questions asked refund to me and all others affected by their poor quality control.

    Beast monitor
    I had a 144hz monitor from another brand which was decent but I saw an advertisement for this monitor (G7). I gave it a shot and am enjoying it so far. 240hz is really impressive. Games are buttery smooth with my Nvidia card. Besides, the core lighting is fabulous. Not only for gaming, but it is a great monitor for any other tasks. If you are a gamer, I suggest you grab one of the Odyssey monitors for an awesome gaming experience!

    Best features for the price
    I love the fact the panel is VA which greatly improves contrast and colors, IPS colors look too washed out to me. Also absolutely no light bleed unlike my another IPS display (also very solid one). Cable management tray is also nice and helps tidy up desk mess pretty well. Ambient light is almost non-existent and doesn't impress at all and build quality could be better. Overall monitor looks a bit on a flimsy side and you can shake it easily while on a stand. That said, to me it's still a valid trade off given the specs and I would still prefer my Odyssey to another IPS gaming monitor I got which is built as a tank.

    DEAD PIXEL GALORE, ZERO QUALITY CONTROL
    i wanted to like this monitor, i really did. the specs are amazing, the colors are great, really a gamer's dream monitor....that's only if they could make one without defects though. is samsung just unable to produce this monitor without dead pixels? this is my 3rd one and it came with 3 dead pixels, beyond frustrating, this thing is supposed to be a "premium" product, it isn't cheap... i don't see why it has such a high dead pixel rate. i'm sure everyone's seen the reviews on here, people going through 10 monitors not able to get one without a dead or stuck pixel, what gives?

    Cable management is very bad, USB seems pointless
    the cable management system & provided cables really aren't up to par. you have to bend the cables 180 degrees, pinch them between a clip & the monitor body, impinging the vertical height adjustment & the monitor tilt movement. the cable clip isnt adequate to accommodate the full array of input cables adding an additional hdmi cable overwhelms the clip. after managing, cables extend approx 70cm & 80cm from the base of the stand on a monitor with a 70cm wingaspan, i'm not sure where the source is expected to be. placing a laptop beside the monitor the cables wont reach the opposite side. i also have to add the usb ports are hidden behind the backing plate making them practically unreachable, i'm not sure why anyone would see a value in placing them there.
