Go Mount Your TV!!!
My husband was able to put this on our wall & mount our TV effortlessly! He said it was super simple to do! In the beginning I didn't want to mount out TV because I was worried about ugly cords hanging down, but we said well let's just try! So glad we did because it looks AMAZING hanging on the wall. I don't have to worry about the baby pulling on the TV stand anymore. We mounted a 55” that now we can see so much better! This even has the option to tilt the TV if need be! The best part is if we ever get a bigger TV this mount will hold it. Going to get more to mouth the other TV's in our house!

Well built
I have installed a couple TV wall mounts in the past, and I think this Sanus Vuepoint FLT1 model is one of the more straightforward to assemble and install compared to the rest. I was lucky to find one stud to mount one side with included bolts. The other side I had to use some drywall anchors and my own drywall screws, which holds just as strong. Although I appreciate the tilt and extend functionality, which is glides smoothly and stays sturdy, I just really needed my LED TV to be flat on the wall, which still rests perfectly without too much protrusion from the wall. I have a 43” TV and I mainly use it as an extended monitor at my desk in the apartment living room. However, when I cook in the kitchen next to the living room, I now have the option to tilt it 45 degrees to watch TV more easily. All of my HDMI cables are organized well behind the TV and it's very easy to pull the TV out to plug or unplug any cables. The overall unit is relatively lightweight and easy to handle. It's well built and I believe it will last for future flatscreen TV upgrades and installs.

    Well built mount!
When I got this mount I was skeptical about how well built that it would be. I was surprised at the heavy gauge steel that it is made from. It will definitely hold the weight of a large TV. It has a good range of tilt due to how it extends away from the mount on the wall. The wall mount has slots for the mounting bolts to have enough range to be mounted into the framing of the wall that it is mounted on. This would be great to use over the mantle of a fireplace or in a bedroom where the TV would need to be tilted down to watch from laying in a bed. I would recommend this product!

    Tilt feature is exceptional
Super easy to install TV mount and the instructions were super simple and easy to understand. The mount itself weights maybe about 20 pounds and it comes with a extend and tilt feature that makes this mount really nice. Took about 15 mins for me to install this mount and mainly that was just finding the stud. This Tv mount extends about 5 inches from the wall and it makes plugging in cables so much easier than some of the mount have seen so flush to the wall. This product comes with a 5 year warranty which is especially nice and it even has a you tube video to help walk you through the install in basically three easy steps. You need a drill and socket wrench, level, tape measure and stud finder to install this product.

Excellent addition to my home running room
I have installed 9 previous wall mounts for TV's in different locations but all were the "wall huggers" which hold the TV close against the wall and makes cord connections difficult. Wanted a different one for my home gym "running room" to position a 40" TV directly in front of my treadmill and that would tilt the TV exactly where I wanted it. The Sanus Vuepoint was the perfect solution. Because of my past experience, I didn't read the directions and still haven't, but the installation is very easy, don't let it scare you. Step one is to attach the two TV brackets to the back of the TV, make sure you follow your instructions and use the correct mounting hardware which is provided for basically any TV. Simply remember the brackets should be parallel to the back of the TV with the top hook on the top and the lock down knobs pointing to the outside edge of the TV for accessibility. Make sure all 4 screws are tight and secure. Step two is very important as installing the wall plate will determine exactly where your TV will hang. I recommend taking the wall plate and placing it in the top hooks of the TV bracket before installing, that will show you exactly where you should place the wall plate on the wall. Sanus also includes a cardboard template which will help you immensely to determine the position of the wall plate. For ease in installing the wall plate and making a secure installation, I recommend first installing a board of at least 3/4" thickness on the wall first and using long deck screws securing the board to the wall studs, then simply installing the wall plate on the board. The board is not essential, but sure makes it easy to install the wall plate. For either method, finding the wood studs in the area where you want to mount the wall plate is essential. A stud finder will help if you have one or can borrow one from a friend, I simply use a small drill bit and drill holes in a horizontal line on the mounting area until I find a stud, then mark the exact center of the stud. That is where you will want to install a mounting screw for the wall plate for a secure installation. The wall studs will probably be 16" apart, but make sure you read your directions and use the enclosed cardboard template carefully, positioning the wall plate and correctly mounting it is everything. Once you have the wall plate mounted (Make sure to use a level for correct mounting) simply hang the TV on the wall plate with the TV brackets. I have provided 2 photos to help, if you use my recommended mounting board it can be any board as it will be hidden by the TV in the end. Using this method, I got a perfect mount of my TV in my running room and can tilt the TV to my desired position and easily attach or removed HDMI cables to the back of the TV with plenty of space between the TV and the wall.

    Gives Options!
The installation of this tilting tv wall mount was pretty straight forward. The instruction manual gives complete instructions, and accompanying hardware, for mounting in three different supports: wood studs, concrete, and steel studs. Do not install in just sheet rock or plaster alone!! Installation video and live support available.

Need 2 people to install. great product!
The Sanus Vuepoint extend and tilt TV wall mount comes well packaged with easy to follow instructions. My wife and I installed this and had our 65' inch T.V. mounted on the wall in about an hour. We are both pretty handy and were able to get this accomplished pretty easily. I would say that it takes 2 people to complete the installation. It is well worth it. The T.V. looks great on the wall. I am confident that it is securely hung and not going anywhere. Tools needed for installation are: a stud finder, a tape measure, a level, a drill, a screwdriver, and a socket wrench. The is a great sturdy well-built product. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to mount there TV on the wall.

    Very good bracket
I got this to use in my RV because my old TV died and my new one doesn't quite fit in the space my former TV occupied. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me because the wall I would need to attach it to is much too weak for the weight. That bei g said, the bracket is well made, has a lot of holes spaed put nicely on the back for multiple size TV's and for many different angles. I would highly recommend this for home use. Great mount. Make sure you have help!
This will take two people at least to install. My SO is very handy and it still took us over an hour and a half to get the tv attached to the bracket and the bracket attached to the wall. That being said, this a great mount. It's sturdy and has a good range of movement. I'd recommend.

Room Behind To Tilt and for Cords
The Sanus Vuepoint extend and tilt TV wall mount comes with easy to follow instructions on the box itself. I had a handy man friend install ours, and he had the mount up on the wall in roughly 30 minutes for our 32' TV. The box states this mount will hold up-to a 70' TV, holding up-to 80 pounds, so there is room if we grow into a larger TV later. With that said, be mindful of the height of the mount, if wanting to grow into a larger TV. This wall mount offers 5" from the wall, to insert or remove the cable and TV cords. The tilt can be moved up/down or side to side. Tools needed for the install are: stud finder, tape measure, level, drill, screwdriver, socket wrench, and possibly a wall anchor if not able to get close enough to the stud. There are online video's available from the vendor prior to self installation.
