the first time we used the snaptain drone, it defaulted out of "headless" mode and was uncontrollable and smashed into our deck...hard. it was erratic and unpredictable to use after that.

    Drone it's OK it works as supposed to. But the only big issue is that the battery life it's horrible, it lasts about 10 minutes and you have to get the drone down and switch batteries. I guess good thing is that it comes with 2 batteries but I was hoping to get a bit more battery life than just 10 minutes

    Fun for beginners
    The material quality is lacking. Cheap plastic. The blades on the drone is very thin and easily damaged. Extra blades are included. The setup is very easy and straight forward. It comes in a cheap plastic case (in the photo) and a more expensive drone come in better wrapping (Photo). Any little wind this drone will leave you so play with it in a wide open space. The motor is not very strong and the battery flight time is about 12 minutes. Charging time is about 30 minutes. Overall, it still fun to play with that will not break your wallet or bank account.

    Christmas fail
    This was purchased as a gift for my 9 year old for Christmas. My husband was helping him learn how to fly it. It was “calibrated” before use and while the drone was slightly above the roof of our home, it dropped the connection, started spinning and took off. They were able to follow it until it went above a tree line and then they lost it. They spent over 2 hours looking for it in the woods. This was literally played with for less than 10 minutes. It wasn't dropped, it wasn't windy and it wasn't user error. My husband attempted to reach the seller at the phone number listed but there was no response. I wouldn't recommend this purchase to anyone. It was great the whole 10 minutes it worked right. I would give it zero stars if I could.

    great drone for great price
    i bought this for my husbad and 7 year old. they love it. great way for them to connect and spend time together. great drone for the money. was worried about quality seeing i got it on a black friday deal so was under $40 but turned out to be a great buy. i would definitely recommend.

    I received it as a Christmas gift, to be the first drone I have ever had is good, It is really little and not too heavy (really light actually) What I am still having troubles is using the camera, I don't find a way how to connect it and there's nothing on the manual about the camera. Apparently there are different apps but it doesn't show up to work on any…

    This was such an amazing gift for our nephew and he loves it! Was easy for him to learn to fly and takes amazing video! Highly recommend especially for the price!

    This was a wonderful starter drone for my ten year old! The controls are extremely easy to learn, and the take off/land assist really made it easy to operate. I enjoy how easy it is to take and view pictures/videos. The foldable design makes it very compact and easy to store. Highly will recommend this in the future!!
