Stopped working in less than a year
great monitor until it randomly stops working. monitor was on and working yesterday and then i barely touched the display and the screen went black. no longer receiving power. rewired, checked the outlets...nothing is wrong except the monitor being unable to turn on. worst money i've ever spent. this isn't the first time either. do better, samsung.

    Flickering and Random dark spot at times
    i bought this about 13 months ago and three months ago it started to flicker on the left hand side of the screen when turned on and then a area of the screen on the left side was dim. like a curtain was there blocking a strip of light. your money is best spent else where, i believed in you samsung you let me down with this.

    Very good buy!
    I really like this monitor! Other reviews say it is not adjustable, which is not but you can tilt which was all I needed. I almost didn't buy it because I thought it just started in place but no, you can tilt it. The eye saver mode is great, very easy to turn on and off and the screen is big enough for me to have 3 pages open at the same time or 6 if I want them across top and bottom.

    Watch for it.
    Love it but it doesn't come in a Walmart box. They will leave the box saying Samsung monitor on your porch or whatever so definitely wanna watch your tracking.

    Many bad pixels
    A new CR500 has (1) one cluster of bad pixels (2 pixels in one cluster), (2) one bad pixel elsewhere and (3) yet one more bad pixel elsewhere. In comparison, I have similar monitors from other manufacturers, similar price, with no bad pixels.

    Sticking with what's great
    I brought mine from Walmart a year ago during Black Friday. It has yet to disappoint in any respect. The image is still great. Initial construction, well there was nothing to it. Just snack a stand in place. Having that size of a monitor at that price point is great bang for the buck. Yes, I'm coming back to get another one of these to match the one I got. Sure you can go out and pay more but why? I'm buying smart and saving money on this one from a name brand supplier with a solid reputation for great products.

    Nice Monitor, Amazing Delivery, Lacking Features
    I had purchased this building a new PC and I was amazed that despite their free shipping saying it would take a week, it arrived after a single day in excellent quality from FedEx. Much of this monitor is more impressive but leaves some to be desired. Setting up the stand is easy enough, though doesn't snap into place very reassuringly. Powering on is simple from the power button/joystick it back. The design of the menu, toggling it to the features, is a bit clunky with the joystick design of it. While more intuitive than up and down buttons, it's not much better and often pops you back out. Screen quality is excellent and arrived with no flaws. It also has a sleek impressive design. The only big downside I've had is that there is no DisplayPort, and it only came with a 3 ft HDMI cable (and the power cable). If you plan to hooking this up with multiple monitors, needing that longer DisplayPort to HDMI lcable or converter might be a consideration for you.
