Happy With Purchase
I am a 66 yr old single woman and pretty much unexperienced at assembly. Was impressed with the clear assembly directions. Easy to follow. Was able to put it together myself. I did take a lot of extra time to do the last step of adjusting the drawers to even out the space between them as I got the white and the space showed up probably more than the black would. Very happy with the results and worth the assembly time for the price. Construction seems very sturdy. Would by a Sauder product again.

Never buy Sauder Parklane Dresser
This dresser was constructed very poorly, the holes werent all consistent. Leading to a dresser that leans back slightly, the drawer were another nightmare. There are gaps that can be seen, and the drawers do not go in or out of the unit easily.

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/05/2021Do not move after it's builtI've had this dresser now for two years. Before I moved, I had built it in the room it was going to be in. Worked amazing. As soon as I tried moving it fell apart. My dad built this and he is a licensed handyman, so it was not operator error. It literally just couldn't take the stress of being moved around. It is currently being held together by black duct tape in multiple places and will be thrown out as soon as I can afford a new one.Megan

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/30/2020I like it!BUILDING: It did take a little more brainpower to build, but instructions were mostly clear and parts are clearly labeled. Two parts came in damaged, but Sauder was easy to communicate with and replaced them quickly with no hassle. I did have to adjust the rails on the drawers some to get them to equally fit, but did not do any additional drilling. (note in my image that I still need to adjust the rails on the second drawer.) It requires a hammer and screwdriver to assemble. DURABILITY: I feel as though the dresser is durable. I did not use the wall mount as the dresser is angled in a corner in the room, but it does not seem wobbly. You just have to be careful when moving because the top of the dresser will lift up sometimes and need to be screwed back in. Overall, I am satisfied with this piece. Nice finish, good price for what I wanted, perfect size. Would recommend!Mckenzie

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/21/2020Great value, looks great and holds up well. This is the second chest like this I've purchased. One was for my stepson to use several years ago. It's been moved twice and has held up fine. I like the size of the drawers and the height of the chest. The chest is also not super deep so it doesn't take up a ton of room. The second, I've purchased to build into my other stepson's closet for a custom closet set up. It works really well because it's narrow enough to fit through the closet door and have the drawers slide out. I like the construction and very detailed instructions. If you lay out the pieces exactly as the pics show in the instructions, you'll be fine. You WILL need a Phillips head screwdriver and you cannot use a drill...the drill will overtighten the weird metal cam things (did this on one, don't be me). This is a really versatile piece of furniture and I'm thinking I'll be purchasing two more to incorporate into our custom closet rebuild.Kadavis

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/21/2020BeautifulIts pretty heave and took me a woman alone 3 hours to asseble. Would be easier and faster to assemble with an electric screw driver. I like it so far. Came without any damage, nicely packed. Not much room in the drawers but great for kids' room. Looking forward to buying same brand night stand.liana

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/14/2020Buy different drawer slidesThe drawer slides are the worst I have ever seen. I am not sure why they put a rubber square instead of a metal wheel on the inside track but it causes a lot of friction. But for the price its what you get. The rest of it is sturdy. Anyhow I bought the 10 inch ball bearing drawer slides on amazon for like $25 bucks. I was able to put those on and it is now great.Josiah
