This thing was a life saver for my dad. His car battery was dead, this thing was easy for him to lift and use. His car started right up. We have used it about 7 times before we had to charge it. Great product!

    the end to charge is imposible are short big heavy with absurd short wire to charge .who do this was high on something. open check how long are the wire to charge

    I looked around for something like this that fit all my needs for a while, and decided to settle on this one. Schumacher is usually a pretty reliable brand and the price was right. I needed something that could inflate a tire if needed, provide power to various ac, dc, and usb powered devices while camping, and of course the ability to jumpstart larger vehicles. This seemed like a perfect device. Now I'm rethinking the whole Schumacher brand and their quality. I literally have not used this battery pack except to inflate a tire a total of maybe 20 PSI over a couple of different dates. The second date was today. The compressor completely stopped working, you could hear something running, but it wasn't the compressor. It seems as though something broke between the electric motor and the compressor. It was only ran a few minutes when this happened and it was in 20 degree weather with windchill around 5 degrees. Surely not an overheating problem, nor did the thermal protection kick on. The sound of the inflating function suddenly changed and the tire was no longer inflating. I figured maybe it was a type of protection mode. I let it rest approximately an hour out of caution and then tried to inflate a small ball I had around the house and it wouldn't inflate the ball, The device no longer sounds like a compressor but more like a vacuum cleaner. Literally it's basically brand new and no longer is fully functioning. I've maintained the battery per the instructions, and used it to inflate a tire twice. That's it. Along with the above issue preventing it from being a fully functioning device, I also noticed the build quality is definitely lacking. It appears they tried shoving everything within the case and then putting the rear battery cover on. The battery cover and the rest of the case do not even meet up correctly. It just oozes poor build quality and poor quality control. Fortunately, this product is being replaced under Walmart's return policy, and I also purchased the extended warranty. According to All State who the extended warranty is through it does cover battery replacements. I have screenshots of the conversation I had specifically regarding this issue. So if anyone is willing to purchase this jump starter, the extended warranty is definitely worth the few extra dollars. I'll attempt to update this review once I receive a replacement and test it out. Hopefully the next one is of better build quality and it's just a case of covid quality control issues.

    Great purchase all around
    Just rec'd. Price was about $50 cheaper than Amazon with free shipping couldn't pass up this deal. Came fully charged so I immediately used to jump my car battery and it fired right up. Seems to be very well made, instructions are very simple to follow. Overall very happy with purchase.

    Poor customer service.
    The item came in an outer box that was slightly crushed but the big surprise was when I opened the outer carton and got to the box that the charger was in. That box was crushed and torn open in the upper left hand side panel and the charger itself had to positive cable clamp broken. Whoever packed this had to know that they were sendind a damaged item. I have been trying to find out how to return it for two days with no success. You cannot talk to a real live person and the automated program will not allow me to put in my email address which is required so I cannot go any further. I guess my only alternative is to call my credit card company and to start a "dispute action".

    This jump starter dies everything it says it does very well. It is well made and I can always count on it to work when I need it to. Follow the instructions and you will have excellent performance from it for a long time.

    Wonderful
    I got this so my husband would be able to use his cpap when we have power outage. But Have used it to air up my daughters tires several times. Seems like a lot of construction on her route to work is causing her to get nails in her tires. Also husband jumped his motorcycle off and it showed 100% still.

    Easy to operate
    I have yet to have a need for any of the features of this item but I can say that I'm pleased that, when I do use it, there is no need to carry the manual with it. There is a sticker on the top of it that gives a brief tutorial of what the symbols mean on the unit and directions on using each feature. Anything of note when I do use the power unit will be reported on in a future review.

    I have not used it yet but it appears to have been already used and put back in the box then sold to me. It has scratches on different areas of it and it did not come covered in plastic or with the bag of accessories/adapter pieces that is mentioned under the contents on the box. To spend over $100 total on a product I would like to be the first owner. I will be sending this product back hopefully for a " brand new" one if not I will be asking for a refund.
