Better than I expected!
I applied the seed mix on June 20th and on the 7th day I noticed grass starting to grow! All I did was keep the ground wet and kept the dogs off of the seeded area. Product did better than what was said on the bag, I couldn't be happier!

A substandard seed mix to avoid.
Bought this for some bare spots and general overseeding which was done May 1, on May 22 not one seed has sprouted, 0% emerged. Temps have averaged 55-75 degrees, periodic light rains plus watering 2-3 times/day. In addition lawn soil was spread above the seeds and the soil was prepped to be sure seeds touch direct soil. I've used this exact method with Shultz seeds and have had grass in 7-10 days. These Scott's seeds appear to be unviable and a tremendous waste of time and effort. (Pics are after 23 days, nothing but the same white seeds sitting on top of the soil.)

    Lush, thick green grass
    I used this grass seed to fill in bare areas after I used tall fescue seed and it didn't grow well. This commercial seed grew lush, thick grass after preparing the soil, watering the seed daily. I am so pleased.

    Fertilizer burn remedy
    When used as directed, I saw germination within 10 days. The product was used to cover bare spots from fertilizer burns.
