Well-Pleased
I live on a mountain have horrible soil (red clay/rocks). This grew evenly and looks great. It took a few months to completely fill in, but my yard looks great now.

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/03/2022The grass grew well, no complaintsPlanted in heat of summer, grew better than expected that time of year initially, then seemed to thin out a bit. All in all I would purchase again if I find myself needing to plant grass in July or August.21daful

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/04/2021Not impressedI bought this to overseed my lawn this fall and was particularly interested in the heat intolerant Blue Mix. I prepped my yard and applied the grass seed as directed on the bag. Sadly, I would not purchase this seed again. On top of bare areas now growing weeds unlike before, I can't see or find where the seed even germinated. Extremely disappointed. I would give no stars if possible. Not impressed

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/15/2021Heat tolerant is HardyBought to fill in bare spots that have been trying to fill in for several years. The one thing that is needed is proper amount of water. I always in the past had the best success when seeding during rainy periods, the past 2 years have seeding during winter when it snowed. Spring most areas filled in, still working on a bare spot that doesn't get much sun, but it has filled in more each year. Like the heat tolerant, even if you plant grass and it isn't heat tolerant when the summer heat comes up will die. Another thing I apply seasonal weed and feed and mulch, never bag.Tamara

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/01/2021No issuesI've got grass coming up so the seed must be viable...Not really sure how to write a review for grass seed. The photo was taken two weeks after seeding. Please ignore the weeds as I didn't do a great job of removing all of them before seeding. I did use Scotts Turf Builder for Seeding at time of planting which will hopefully work as a pre-emergent for additional weeds!Macoeur

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/05/2020okThere is only 50% seed in the bag. Much of the rest is "inert matter." Though this took longer to germinate under good conditions, it was thinner than the Vigoro tall fescue I had planted prior. The Vigoro brand also came up faster and thicker-the bag had far more seed and far less "inert matter."EReb
