Very comfortable and soft
This is a lovely mattress topper, its very soft and comfortable,both the touch and to lay on. We have a memory foam mattress which we love so didn't think this would make anything any better but it did, you just sink very slightly into it and feel nestled into comfort. Its really easy to fit with elastic at the open area to fit it around your mattress easily. Have to say very impressed plus its serta which is always good. highly recommend for a good nights sleep. it also came with a small carry bag to keep it in if you don't want it on in the summer.

not so lofty
The Serta So Lofty Pillow Top Mattress Topper (in king size) is labelled as over-filled and being 2 inches thick. It is not compressed in the packaging (though it says it is shipped vacuum-sealed), so when I first removed it I thought it wasn't very thick. I washed it and let it air out and it is still maybe 1 inch at best and is in no way over-filled. With two people sleeping on this, one person says they can sort of tell it is there and I don't feel a difference at all as far as comfort and fluffiness go. I am a hot sleeper and this holds in the heat, so this is a complete no for me, but the other person saw no difference. If you sleep cold you may enjoy using this for the added insulation. As far as quality goes for the other features, it fits my mattress well and doesn't slip off. With this being king sized it is too big to fit my washer so it does need to be taken to a commercial-sized machine for cleaning (trust me, you can cram it in your own machine but you will regret it as I tried that once with a different topper and it ended up tearing, so I highly recommend using a larger machine), but at least it is machine washable. Overall though, I was not impressed with this being a Serta product as I was expecting it to be thick and fluffy.

    Nice Mattress Topper
    This review is based on two very different sleepers.. If it were up to me I would give this 6 stars out of 5. My wife would give it 3. We have a firm mattress and this topper adds just the right amount of extra cushion and cradles the body. It makes my firm mattress much more comfortable for me. My wife insists it is too soft for her liking but it does have some features she likes. The pad has not shifted nor have the sides pulled up from under the mattress. It doesn't effect the fitten sheets ability to fit over the mattress either. Overall I'm a happy, better rested man thanks to my new mattress topper. If you have a firm mattress and need that extra layer of soft comfort, this product is for you.

    High Quality Mattress Topper
    This is a very NICE High Quality Mattress-Topper, is EXTRA SOFT yet one can tell made of pretty decent HIGH QUALITY materials and SEWN together REAL WELL REAL GOOD construction! I especially LOVE it because it provides me some much needed EXTRA Cushioning for these HIP'S!!! SEE! I am only 5' 8” but severely OBESE, weighing roughly 350-360-Lbs. Have had many a Orthopedic Surgeon tell me at that weight being 70-years-old that a HIP-REPLACEMENT would be mighty ROUGH mighty TOUGH to REHAB at my present WEIGHT / SIZE / GIRTH!!! I still sleep on my SIDE in the FETAL-PRONE-POSITION as I a reckons a whole lot of folks still do? But with these BAD WORN-OUT HIP'S I need ALL the EXTRA Cushioning the EXTRA SOFTNESS I can get in order to get / achieve a GOOD night of restful refreshing SLEEP!!!! I suffer quietly with these HIP'S that are pretty well SHOT, some day's WORSE than others but I must persevere I a reckons? So this NICE Decent Quality *SERTA-Mattress-Topper here providing EXTRA Cushion to these OLD pretty much WORN-OUT OLD HIP'S is really truly a GOD!-send and a half!!!! Was truly a FAIR decent price $$$$ for the Quality of Overall Materials and Manufacture given both by *SERTA and **WAL-MART!!!! THANK YOU BOTH whereas I THANK YOU these OLD WORN OUT HIP'S THANK YOU also, NICE once again getting a GOOD night's restful sleep!!!!

    This is a nice mattress topper, fits very well but to me it's a little to soft. If this was a little thicker it would be awesome but it's a little too thin for me and it seems to keep your body heat in which makes it hard for me to sleep on. After 3 nights I had to remove it from my bed.

    Serta So Lofty Pillow Top Mattress Pad/Topper
    This king size pillow top mattress pad/ topper from Serta is like sleeping on a cloud. I can't get over just how comfortable it is. Its shocking since I'm one who usually prefers a firm mattress. I actually got a very good night's sleep the first night I used it. Its super soft. I like that this topper is overfilled and it stays in place. It has a skirt system, so no more using straps or pins to keep it on the bed. This is a plus for me. This pillow top topper also adds warmth. It appears well made with equal amounts of overstuffed padding. I fully recommend this product. If your looking for a very comfortable mattress topper check out this one from Serta.

    Fine until It's Washed
    This topper does have a few good points. First, it is soft & very comfortable. Second, it's also reasonably priced & from a well-known brand. But I washed it on a short cycle, since it was new. Unfortunately, it pilled a lot & lost quite a bit in the dryer as well. Care instructions recommend washing & drying it in home front loaders & commercial equipment. I have front loaders & it barely fit. Frankly, I think it would be better to wash it at a laundromat. But if I have to do that, it's not worth it!

    Great quality product!
    This pillow top mattress topper is quality product indeed, great fit to our king mattress. It has that extension with elastic end to fit under our think mattress perfectly. It has decent thickness which can smooth out any depression in the mattress from over use. It's quilted puffy style which give it the thickness needed, apart from adding beauty to the look. Still need to cover with fitted sheet to protect it from body friction and to increase the life time. It's perfect if you want to use heating tool to put under under that pillow top. Which feel great in very cold winter nights. Because of the thickness of the quilt pillow top, make the heating wires hide well and we do not feel when sleep over. As a matter of fact, I purchased this heating tool to our bed, but couldn't use until I purchased this pillow top. It worked well. I loved my pillow top and the quilted quality is just amazing and looks fancy. I recommend to family and friends and will buy again for the rest of my family.

    Plush topper
    This Serta So Lofty topper is perfect for those of us whose mattress is, shall we say, no better than a cowboy's bedroll. My mattress is actually over 20 years old!. So when I was offered this Serta Lofty for a review, it seemed like something worth trying, even though I wasn't expecting too much. I mean, how much could it do for a mattress that old??. However I decided to rip my freshly made bed apart and place this over my mattress and remade my bed. That night, having forgotten that I put the topper on earlier, I got into bed and instantly remembered I put it on that morning because it felt so good. Having aches and pains from years of my job, this was so soothing and comfortable. I am getting much better sleep now, and I would highly recommend it for others who need a new mattress but don't want to pay a fortune. Try a topper first

    Great quality topper
    This Serta So lofty pillow top mattress topper is a nice quality topper. I washed it in cold water and tumble dried it on low for about an hour and a half. I finally bumped it to medium heat for about 20 minutes to get the damp spots dried. The fabric is soft and the quilted top feels high quality. It fit my thick mattress nicely. I'm a hot sleeper and didn't get hot with this topper.
