Difficulty with programming
Assembly and installation went well with no problems up until the part where you program the stopping points and set the down pressure. The first time it goes down AFTER programming, it goes a little crazy, skipping cogs and the works. After emailing the company, I found out that that is normal and it only does it once to determine the down pressure at the bottom stop.

    Strong, Quiet, Versatile
    I bought this to replace my 1/2 HP National brand opener that worked well but was so noisy it would wake up the family when I got home from work. After about 8 months I've had no issues. the remotes work well and the door also opens with the security system through the app on my smart phone. android at first but switched to iPhone no problems the app works well on both OSs. the opener hums quietly and now the loudest part is the rollers on the track which can't be heard inside so mission accomplished.

    Easy to install
    I bought this 6 months ago and installed it myself. Works great, but I needed to reset the open/close sensors last week. The door wasnt opening all the way and wouldn't stay closed. I think because of the snow build up by the door. Took me less than a minute to reset. Easy fix.

    Great opener
    I bought this garage door opener because it seemed to have all what I wanted, it is great and I am not disappointed at all. It's very quite and can lift my door with ease and the door I have is 16 foot wide and 8 foot high. All 3 of the remotes are good as well and the keypad one is really good, you can install it anywhere but for me I take it as I take my cell phone, so when I take my sled, motorcycle, or ATV on the way up my driveway in just open it up. Very handy indeed and where the keys are cover it prevents hitting the button by mistake. The light stays on for a good amount of time so there is loads of time to get out walk around grab what you need and walk away, and the light does light up my whole garage with is a bonus. Overall very happy with this product and would love to have another one of them if and when the time comes.

    bought this item and found the installation instructions easy to follow and very clear. The installation went smoothly and the opener functioned perfectly right away without further attention. approximately 1 1/2 years later the unit ceased, and they replaced the component without question
