Price and quality. I researched getting a cage from six other places, and this was the best price ( by a $100).

Not a Well made cage
Very flimsy cage. Very disappointing. The wheels do not roll smoothly and they get stuck and the water spells all over. When I lift up the cage to carry it...it falls apart most of the time. I had to put zip ties so that it won't detach itself. Would not recommend.

    Bars spaced too far apart
    Overall the cage lasted very long and I got good use of it. The only problems are that the bar spacing is too big for a parakeet, mine keeps sticking its head through. The screws started coming out of the bottom section after a few months.

    BUYER BEWARE.....NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!
    This cage is flimsy!! I bought this cage for my cockatiel. This cage is not well made. The bars are very thin. The door has 2 latches, and the whole cage wobbles when you open or close it. who designed this cage...lol. The space for the food or water dish IS ON THE CAGE DOOR!! You have to remove it b4 you use the door. Pass this one by folks, you will be very disappointed.

    Not for small birds, poorly constructed.
    The size of the cage was nice. However, it was poorly constructed. The latches on the doors were very flimsy. Overall construction was not great, which was surprising for Yaheetech as I have two other cages from them that are wonderful. This is more for a cockatiel or larger bird. My birds escaped from between the bars.

    Very happy!
    I was looking at other cages that were actually iron and super sturdy. I ultimately decided on this because it was the same size and $15 cheaper and included the stand. It is the kind of metal that easily bends by hand, but it is a tiny bit thicker than our old cage so seems sturdier. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the stand is slightly bent and the shelf is not going to be able to hold any kind of weight at all. I'm happy that the cage is elevated though. I'm using it for our cockatiel and it's a great size for one or two of them. She has full reign of the house all day so I can't say that she loves the cage because she's never in it until it's time to sleep. Lol I will say that I love the shape of the cage. The other ones, at this height, seem to get very narrow because they were shaped like houses and stuff like that. This one is as wide on the bottom as it is on top.

    A fantastic quality and a great price.
    Shipping on this cage was much faster than originally quoted, which I appreciate. Construction was very easy and pretty straight forward. Also, its a sizable cage for the price. My baby budgie thats coming home soon will love this bird cage.
