Omg what a product!!
Sound out of this world. A touch expensive but totally worth it. I do not have much knowledge on the subject and always thought of BOSE being the best but after listening to Sonos, I am blown away. There cannot be any other speaker / sound system better than this.

I would never buy this product again
The Sonos sound bar was a gift, and, unfortunately, a huge disappointment. The sound is muddy and indistinct; no amount of tweaking --with the app or through the tv--improves it. The far less expensive sound bar that the Sonos replaced provided a significantly better listening experience. ( I now use it in another room.) In order to watch anything without constantly backing up and replaying a scene,I resorted to activating the Verizon/XFinity subtitle feature . Recently I received as a gift two Sonos rear speakers which have infinitely better sound separation and sound quality--- hard to believe that they are from the same company that makes the soundbar. The amount of money expended on this expensive system definitely exceeds the value. Only with the addition of the rear speakers, am I now able to view and hear television programs without resorting to subtitles or rewinds. I want to make clear that my hearing is excellent, Caveat emptor.

    Fantastic sound, best sound imaginable
    I had a Mac connected to a TV in my bedroom. I had the audio output to a conventional two-speaker stereo as well. Also, in my bedroom, I had a small Google assistant speaker. I replaced the speaker and the stereo with the Beam. First, I have not been able to connect the TV with the HDMI to Digital converter that came with it. I don't believe it works at all. I connect with Apple AirPlay as everything comes from the Mac anyway in this situation. Secondly, the Google assist part doesn't work as well as a regular Google speaker. It has some limitations when AirPlay is playing to it. But the worst is that - for no reason - it just says "Sorry, I didn't understand that." It just blurts it out, once in the middle of the night. I do like the Beam for it's sound. It is just what I hoped for after paying this price. It's just amazing! Apple AirPlay works really well on it.

    Enjoying my Sonos beam
    I really enjoy listening to music on the Beam - whether it is a streamed radio station, Spotify, or just my old mp3 files I store on my phone. The sound quality is incredible.

    This was recommended to me by my son who has a generation 1
    After17 years I finally replaced my my Sony TV. it still worked well, but the picture quality didn't compare to today's technology. I originally planned to connect the new TV to my existing stereo, but rewiring everything seemed impossible. My son recommended the Sonos Beam Gen 2, as he was very happy with his Gen 1. I initially thought I might need to add a subwoofer, but the sound quality of my new Beam makes a subwoofer superfluous for my needs.

    Small frame, huge sound!
    I wasn't sure if I should get the arc over this because of the lack of base reported by some, but man I'm happy I got this one. Huge sound, appropriate base, dialogues in movies have never been so clear.

    Why didn't I buy this sooner?
    We've been living with the stock TV speakers for over a year since they are decent but our family room is the most room of the house. I finally started testing out speaker bars which I've avoided in the past due to output limitations but Sonos made me a convert. Their demo won by a landslide given the performance for the price. Everything was impressive. The low end notes are fuller than any other speaker bar I tried in that price range. I had the store employee replay the movie/music/game demo without the Gen 3 subwoofer and it still sounded amazing. We started with the just bar but we're going to add the subwoofer for Christmas since my autistic son sings and dances for hours in front of it. Best money I've spent for him but I wish I had done it sooner.

    Best sound I've heard from a TV...
    Love my new sound bar...replaced a Bose sound bar and there is no comparison...clear sound all the time with factory settings...love the easy install..took less than 5 minutes and even set up my remote...will recommend to all my friends...Thank you...PS...my mother always said..You get what you pay for !!!

    Amazing soundbar with excellent crystal clear dialog
    I have the Sonos Beam Gen2 setup in two rooms. First room is a stand alone and the second is setup with the Home Theater Surround sound and subwoofer package. I am very impressed with the Dolby Atmos and overall quality of the sound.

    Absolutely OUTSTANDING!!!
    I purchased the Sonos Beam to go along with my new television which is in my Family Room/Den/Living Room. To say that I was absolutely shocked and surprised would be an understatement. Easy-peezy set up and the sound rivals anything that I've ever heard. I am on the north side of 70 years old so I opted not to go with a subwoofer or rear speakers but the sound that this little unit makes blows everyone away that hears it. Would I recommend it to anyone, absolutely. There are far more expensive units on the market but I can't imagine anything that rivals the sound that this produces. Not only does it enhance my TV viewing or movie watching when I'm not in front of the TV my music that I play through it sounds better than it ever has. One of the best purchase I have ever made.
