SONY-The TRUE pioneers in television pict quality!
Ok… let's get this out of the way. Yes… it's a bit of an investment but as the saying goes, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! Picture quality is jaw dropping and I can honestly say I'm very happy my wife and I decided to make this purchase. We are both enjoying movie time and even just watching regular tv in a whole new light! In addition to the tv being in a league of its own I am equally impressed with the Google TV as well as the remote that comes with the Bravia. The remote easily pairs with your cable box and has pre built buttons for DISNEY, YOUTUBE, NETFLIX and PRIME VIDEO making it a VERY USER FRIENDLY TV UNIVERSAL REMOTE! Anyone on the fence not sure if your going to be making a wise purchase I can SAFELY say this Bravia Television has totally met and exceeded my expectations on what a TV can do!!! Unacceptable product and customer service
Received this product broken with two large cracks across the screen and it wont even turn on. Things happen, but instead of Walmart doing anything respectable, they made me rebox the 71 lb lemon and drag it downstairs myself (yes by myself, despite knowing my postpartum wife cant help), offered me $25 off my next Walmart purchase of $45 (hooray!!), wont replace the TV because its out of stock (but available at many of their partners), and will take up to 3 weeks to refund my $4000 so I can then afford to buy another TV from somewhere else. There are many ways this could have gone better: 1) Sony making a more durable product (hesitating to buy this TV again despite the rave reviews), 2) Walmart offering some actual compensation (not a coupon code for another Walmart purchase, which I dont plan on making), 3) Walmart listening to my personal circumstances and having someone help me rebox and send the TV back, 4) Walmart using their connections and leverage to arrange a new TV to be shipped from one of their partners, and/or 5) Walmart providing a more reasonable refund timetable on this massive purchase so I can buy another TV sooner. I chatted with Walmart before buying this very expensive TV and was reassured that they would back my purchase, and they certainly did not. Walmart lost a very loyal customer, and an expensive TV purchase, in the process. Hope you also think twice before buying this Sony TV (or anything else) from Walmart.

    Outstanding TV
    This is absolutely the most beautiful tv I have seen or owned. I am so glad I chose this tv as it is outstanding in every aspect. As great as the picture is out of the box, there are so many ways to personalize the picture. The tv sound is very good but you will need a surround system to get the full effect. I included the HT- A9 Surround system and the results are incredible. Sony has never disappointed me in the 40+ years that I have been buying their products. You cannot go wrong with the A90J.

    Picture quality great. GoggleTV terrible
    I purchased 2 of these tv's primarily to use with a cable box. The setup via google TV was very long. The 2nd TV failed to setup as it said I had already logged in, but I had not. I had to call support as I got to a menu with no option to move forward or backwards requiring a secret restart sequence. The setup itself required a significant amount of time. On power on, the TV often went back to the streaming interface, though I told the TV to go to the where it was last. The streaming interface (aka GoogleTV) is horrible and not even close to an AppleTV. I've also seen that the security updates are only good for 5 years from the model date, so I will have to use an external stick in a few years, so there was no reason to even try the built-in streaming interface. I finally reset the TV to a factory setting and setup the tv without any streaming and now it's working great. If there are firmware updates to the tv processor, I can't get them in this mode but I had no other choice. I would not recommend this product to any senior as significant technology skills are required to use the tv

    High quality video image and sound and Googl Store
    Easy setup out of the box get you watching Tv quickly. Great features of tweaking sound and video setting to dial it in. I use a soundbar but sound from TV is very good. The big feature for me is Google Play Store alt of apps to install to make your TV viewing experience enjoyable. Dose a great job of recognizing Sony products Example DVD and Soundbar with no problems. The remote is way better then older models it lights up and compatible to Cable box's to control them, it did for mine.Very Happy with this Sony A90L OLED 65" TV

    Worth the money!
    I bought this TV in February. So far I had no issues. My friends and family like the sound and image quality. The picture stays true even from different angles. The remote control is silver colored and flat, which I love. Has direct buttons to YouTube which is my go to app. The google interface works well. I'm happy with my purchase and I really hope it lasts, seems like its a high quality TV and pricey.

    This TV is fantastic!
    We are just in awe every time we turn it on. I've had Bravia TVs for years. I have the 55” & 65” A8H series but want larger for newly refinished living room and this Master Series 83” did not disappoint. It is definitely the most expensive tv I've ever owned but would buy it again in a heartbeat.

    Brilliant
    As an adjective, the word "Brilliant" has many meanings. As for the Bravia XR Master Series this "Smart TV" is Radiant, Bright, Ingenious, Innovative, Creative, Vivid, Splendid, Impressive, Remarkable, Exceptional, Fabulous and Fantastic. This is the Rolls Royce of the TV's available today.

    Pricey but you get what you pay for !!!!!
    Color saturation, sound, ease of setup all better than reviews mentioned. Very flexible and remote far better than the crap LG puts out. Bought top line LG 77" OLED and took back in two weeks. The Sony OLED stomps other types into the weeds.
