Great features
I bought this a month ago and I am very happy with the purchase. The price point was good. The ability to play both CDs and cassettes was a major factor in my purchase decision and I have not had any issues with any of the Sony products I have owned in the past

What has happened to Sony?
This should never have had the Sony name attached to it. The sound quality is unacceptable and noisy. I cannot play tapes due to the noise from the tape mechanism. Th volume and bass controls are useless. Sony used to be the Rolls Royce of audio. Now it seems that Sony attaches its name to any piece of garbage that they think they can make a profit off.

    So far this is a wonderful little Boombox. I look forward to writing some old Cassette tapes onto a disc. My last one lasted 13 years, hopefully this will also! Unfortunately the instructions leave a lot of information out- shows a picture with numbers, but no corresponding list of what they stand for.

    Good sound quality and lots of features for a small, compact unit. Only reason for only 4 stars are the small, black buttons which are very hard to see and decipher their functions in poor light.

    no mic; blue-tooth device not in manual(added?){mentions car ad-on -- requires objectionable USBinterface) legal issues concerned with privacy of piracy businesses...(I have home and pro audio experience, before compact disc and learned about amiga compact disc interactive) sony music disc format forgotten(mp3 sales use? also read in mix magazine about DCC digital compact cassette) (simon and garfunkle might not aprove)

    Great Sound
    Love all my Sony products. The sound on this CD/Cassette Boombox is phenomenal. I have enjoyed listening to my music from Beyonce to John Coltrane. The price, durability that I will see in the future and the ease of use works for me. I am so happy that I purchase this product and the fact that I have no Blue Tooth interference makes this an excellent buy for my home.

    just got my radio/cassete player/CD player this morning. Digital tuner, 3 preset stations, aux in and out (earphones). Cassette player with recording feature, CD that will read RW cds.

    Big Sound from a Compact Box
    We received this Boombox yesterday and I immediately had to check it out. The sound quality is incredible for such a compact design. We currently have a Sony ZS-H10CP, which delivers awesome sound quality but is bulky and at 20" wide and over 7 pounds, is heavy for my wife to carry (she is 5'0" and 100 lbs.) to the outdoor pool exercise classes she teaches (I have attached a picture). This new model is absolutely PERFECT for her. I was amazed at the quality of the highs and the fullness of the lows when the Mega Bass feature is on. Great Job Sony!!!
