1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/22/2021Downgrade instead of upgradeThese speakers are cheap and pretty bad by design. They function as twitters only. You don't get much highs out of these. Even if you move 80% of sound from the front to the back (where these 6.5" speakers fit in my van) you only start to hear highs and no lows. Why?- by design, as these have tiny magnets- you can tell by size and by weight. A speaker with a tiny magnet just can't produce decent highs by basics of physics. Much the same reason you never see a featherweight fight a heavyweight. Each SSL speaker weighs 340 grams. My OEM 2007 Toyota Sienna LE (the one with the cheapest basic speakers) 6.5 speakers weigh 624 grams each. Looking at both speakers side by side you see that OEM speaker's magnet is over twice as big as one on SSL 365. I'm supposed to have something closer to a sub-woofer in the back but instead I got twitters in the back, literally. Save your $ and buy something decent discontinued, refurbished, renewed, scratch-n-dent, or used- you will still get better sound, or just stick with your OEM speakers if they are not blown. The only application for this I see is if you got a bare-bones weekend race car like a Miata and you need to save on weight - with these you'll save close to 2lb on weight if it matters to you that much. Call me weird but I don't race my van, so I don't care that it got 2lb lighter when I got worse sound I have to live with now (I'm not going though all the disassembly/assembly routine again). And no, you can't use an amp with these as they are only 75watt each- an amplifier will tear them to pieces.Michael

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/05/2018Wow!I put these in the back of my 90 tercel for over a year. Whooped the ass of the pioneers that had died. Now 2 years later@ they are in the back of an 02 accent gs. Still very boomy just not as loud as my "89 db" boss $5 front 5.25. I am still thrilled with themSumdue

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/12/2015good replacement for car facory speakerI had to adapt this to fit my generation 7 Chevy Malibu (2008-2012) because the original junk speaker had gone out. This, with a bit of customizing, worked well and sounds great.graygoose
