South Bend Pony Spool Monofilament Line, 100 yds
I bought the 12 lb. line for my old, old rod and bait casting Penn reel. I used the line for pier fishing and it worked well. I haven't been out fishing in years and had a hankering to get out there again and give it a try. It was great, even tho' I didn't catch anything, but I got close!

Terrible dont buy
This Line is terrible, dont buy it! Got 12 lb test and it was weaker than my 6 lb line! Every time I cast even light lures the line snaps!

    Seems ok
    seems ok... I'm using this item for a craft project. Item was cheaper than the product I would of normally used. As for it's intended use, I have no opinion to share. Just thinking outside the box for my craft project.

    Great product and size for fitting into a shoebox.
    We buy these every year for Operation Christmas Child through Samaritans Purse where a shoebox is filled with age appropriate toys and necessities for children from all over the globe to show the love of Jesus Christ. This is a great gift alone with hooks for older boys who fish for their families meals.

    Good cheap LEADER line!!
    I use 20lbs braided line so for my application I'm using it for this is good if you need the cheapest LEADER line possible..

    Very thin. My fault. But cannot use for my purpose which is cat toys too afraid that they could bite an swallow. Would be good for sewing purposes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Works great for sewing
    It works great to sew velcro on projects or string the beads on my moccasins, stronger than the craft line, & so much cheaper. I love it for my crafts but have not used it for any fishing yet.
