Surprisingly hit or miss
I love soylent, and Vanilla overtook my favorite flavor by a mile. Two cases in though, my last batch had a strange bitter aftertaste. Comparing this to an officemate's Vanilla - there was a noticeable nasty aftertaste that just didn't exist in his. I reported this to Soylent.com and they were quick to respond with a replacement case and to ask for pictures of the lot number from the first one. My second case is similarly 'off'. I've switched back to Strawberry and Original and won't be taking the chance on another box of Vanilla anytime soon.

    Son says it tastes just like a vanilla shake
    We looked at other brands, but Solvent had less saturated fat and more calories to serve as a meal replacement for one meal a day for weight maintenance purposes, even on days of exercising.

    Delicious and filling
    I've drank Soylent off and on for a few years now. It's honestly the best it's ever been. It has a smooth texture, not gritty at all. The vanilla flavor is natural and there's no weird chemical/artificial taste or aftertaste. The drink is slightly thicker than regular milk, but not by much. I prefer to drink it as cold as possible and even though I finish it within just a couple of minutes, one bottle manages to keep me satiated for at least 4 hours - no need (for me) to drink it gradually. I typically use it to replace one meal a day, which has contributed to some healthy weight loss.

    Tastes like a milkshake! Kids love it too!
    Tastes like a McDonalds Vanilla milkshake, but is really good for you. I have tried a lot of Soylent flavors and love them all, but I keep coming back to this one. It also makes a PERFECT coffee creamer for breakfast.

    Great meal replacement!
    This is a great meal replacement product! I drink it in the morning, it tastes great BTW, and I don't even begin to get hungry until afternoon. I've always had trouble eating breakfast even though I know how important it is, so this is a perfect solution for me.

    My wife and I ABSOLUTELY love the Vanilla flavor!!
    My wife and I have used this product in the past when it only had one flavor (Original) and even then we loved it. Our most recent order of the Vanilla flavor I must say have exceeded our expectations and we ABSOLUTELY love it!! I will definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for something yummy to drink at the same time losing weight. I really wish I could drink this for every single meal but the price adds up quickly but well worth the price!!

    Nice Vanilla Milkshake Flavor
    The aroma is pleasant. I think it smells like one of those expensive vanilla extracts. It tastes pretty good. I would say it tastes close to a vanilla milkshake. The flavor is not overpowering. It is not as sweet as Cacao but it definitely is sweeter than Original. I think I would prefer this over Strawberry. Still, not as amazing as Nectar. I would at least recommend people to try it. I honestly don't know where the "bitterness" is that some people have reported.

    I am buying Soylent FOREVER!!!!
    A fantastic way to avoid junk food and enjoy the pleasure of a delicious vanilla nutritional drink! WEIGHT LOSS: I am not getting paid to say this but I have lost 15 pounds in 3 months of taking Soylent for breakfast and dinner. The belly is gone! I eat a healthy sandwich or a bowl of soup for lunch and walk a quarter of a mile twice a week in the evenings. I started everything at the same time. I will eat some food occasionally on every other weekend and on special days but on all weekdays and some weekends, Soylent will be my go to meal. STRONG IMMUNE SYSTEM: The most dramatic thing has been the fact that every year when winter is here, specifically between November and January, I have to always catch that cold and flu. Not this time. Consuming Soylent from October to now, December and January have come and gone with no cold and flu in sight! ENERGY, SHARP AND FOCUSED: Furthermore, I feel very energetic and on high alert in the office and everywhere. SAFE AND SOUND: Coming from a medical family with a doctor in the mix, I did my research about this product when I first purchased it at Seven Eleven before I decided to later order it in quantity and so let me tell you now; You have nothing to be concerned about Soy or any other ingredients in it. Just try Soylent and come back to write your results a few months from now. I would like to hear your feedback and the success based on what I have shared. Let's go!
