Best purchase ever
Our kitty loves this new toy. She's not full grown so she has to leap into the air to grab the toy. Once it starts swinging, she wants it more. We went from having a overly energetic kitten to one who wares herself out in just a few minutes and is ready to curl up and sleep. Only down side is the elastic that allows her to pull it down to her level to play with then slingshots back up and tends to hit the ceiling and sometimes gets stuck on/over the open door. After weeks of rough play, it has held up incredibly well and I highly recommend this item.

One of our kitties absolutely went bonkers over this toy, so much that she got it in her teeth and pulled (like a ferocious dog -- haha) and pulled the thing completely off the door frame so it went flying across the room. With the metal holder made like it is, when it went flying it also hit my other kitty right in the head and about knocked her out. We took it off the elastic and put it on regular heavy string without the metal holder so basically it is just a fluffy, hairy toy on a string. If you have a kitten or cat that isn't very aggressive, it will probably be ok for them to play with it, but if you have an aggressive kitty like ours you might want to rethink it. Great idea but it really shocked us when our kitty pulled on it like she did, otherwise she is a sweet little purr ball. Just be sure and watch your kitties with it and don't leave unattended.

    Fun to watch
    My cat loves this toy but she gets so aggressive that she eventually detaches the mouse on the end. Also, it pulls off the door pretty easy but all door tots do because cats really go to town on these things. I pull them down at night so she doesn't wake up the whole house. She really goes nuts and it's noisy but so much fun to watch.

    The title says springs. Part of the description says springs but part also says a bouncy mouse that hangs on the door which is what I got sent. My cats seem to like it any ways even though I thought I was ordering the bouncy springs that one on my cats is crazy for. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Best cat toy ever!
    I was amazed how enthused my kitten was from the moment I hung this toy from the door frame. She will play non-stop with it until she completely wears herself out. Also, if I tie it to a piece of furniture. she will play for long periods with the mouse that's attached. If the mouse bounces too high and catches on the door, she will cry continuously until I free it for her to play with. Something about that mouse, because my kitten is not normally attracted to catnip toys or other furrry creatures. You must spend the little bit it costs for this toy. Your cat will provide you unlimited entertainment.

    Cat Loves it!
    First, I want to thank whoever built this cat toy. My cat adores this and plays many times all throughout the day and night with it. It is structuarly sound and I love the quick release feature. It is very quiet which allows us to sleep at night. It is at a perfect height as to make my cat actually move to play with it! He wears himself down substantialy at night so he does sleep. I do recommend this to any cat owner and lover.
