A fantastic cabinet.
Absolutely buy this. I picked up mine at a really good price. Obviously its not a safe...etc...However, it will securely keep your valuables away from children. It has one interior shelf and can be bolted to the floor. I have heard that some customers received theirs with dents or dings. Mine hasn't got a single scratch. I am very pleased. 22 guns seems a bit of a stretch. I'm sure you could fit that many as long as they don't have optics or pistol grips. If you are getting into firearms and do not have any safe, get this. Having your firearms outside of a controlled locked container is dangerous.

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/19/2022Don't buy it!!! It is flimsy junk, and no bargain!First, if you buy it, it will be damaged and it wasn't much to start with. I took photos of it when I finally decided to open it. The flimsy box it was packed in was crushed on the bottom and one side of the upper front and the top flaps were only held in place on one flap and the other one was torn open. As I opened the box to see if I had gotten lucky, I found several small dents. I eventually found the keys in the bag around the safe. When I unlocked the door, the door fell out on me and it turned out that the upper hinge pin, made partly of plastic, was broken off and lay in the bottom of the safe. That was enough for me to warrant a refund. However I looked and the components inside and discover that the ribbing for the gun barrels was just flimsy blocks of styrofoam with double sided tape on the back. Such absolute junk.Richard

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/14/2022Budget Gun Storage, not a safeQuality level of your average filing cabinet, don't use it for first line gun safety storage. Mine arrived in the thinnest corrugated cardboard box the Chinese could find with tiny pieces of Styrofoam that were supposed to protect the corners but probably failed before the box was even loaded into a container for it's trip across the ocean. As beat up as the cabinet was, the minimal welds did not fail. That doesn't mean your average car pry bar couldn't get inside this unit within a few seconds. Interior foam pieces are laughable.Sharon

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/01/2021Lots of potential, but smashedIt's a nice enough cabinet, with lots of space, however mine was smashed on the top. I don't think it's just a shipping issue, it seems to happen to lots of them so good luck... I hope yours doesn't get smashed.Michael

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/31/2021Over advertised, cheep insides, but sturdyThe steel cabinet seems to be secure enough to deter kids from getting to the guns. It is light enough to move around and you can secure it to the wall with lag bolts (4 included with washers). A determined thief could get in though. The internal furnishings are very sparse. For example, there is a piece of foam rubber to put on the top shelf, and there is another for the bottom/floor of the cabinet. To hold the long guns in place there is a very flimsy piece of foam rubber with double sided, sort of sticky, tap that you stick onto the inside of the back. 2 other pieces of he same stuff go on the sides. The count of 22 guns capacity apparently refers to the fact that there are 22 little slots cut out of the foam rubber where your gun barrels can rest while the stocks rest on the roam rubber on the floor. As to the real capacity, I think you might consider this cabinet full with 10 to 12 guns, Eventually, I'll fix the inside shortcomings myself to hold that many guns. Pricewise? I was looking for an inexpensive solution, but it seems that prices are much higher than they used to be. I'm giving this 3 stars because it does the function it is supposed to do but is really about the worst inside, and it is dishonestly advertised as a 22 gun safe, but I am keeping it.Terry

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/30/2021Inaccurate dimension in Walmart.comThis item shows a product dimension of 43.30 x 39.50 x 55.00 Inches. Then another size is posted as 55" H x 21" W x 18" L. Both items shipped to me has the latter size. If you're looking for a bigger cabinet, this is not the one I would recommend to buy.Jonathan

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/19/2021No speaken engliseProduct arrived very beat up. Took a while to get a human. That human had a real problem communicating as English was not her first language considering that she was in a call center in India or a similar contry (one in which english is not a first languge). A miserable experience. Very frustrating.Charles

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/03/2021Best basic deterrentThis is your best bet for a basic, low cost protection against theft. Although it is just a key for security it moves the locking bar into the top and bottom of the case, making it pretty difficult for a low-level pry-bar criminal. It is large enough for guns and ammo, and when loaded is really hard for a criminal to carry out. The only negative was kind-of expected and is ignorable to me..... it arrived with a corner crumpled.David
