Party Size
Perfect for making tuna salad sandwiches for a large group or party. Hard to beat the quality of StarKist tuna. Being light means it's in water and low in fat. It has OMEGA 3 that is heart healthy. It is 4lbs with the juice and 3lbs fully drained.

Honey I caught a big one.
I made a mistake the can is too big. I thought I was ordering 4 pounds of tuna in 9 ounce cans. Which would be 7 cans.

    We buy these huge cans of tuna because when I make tuna salad for a family pinic or for a family dinner for our whole family just for sandwiches you can bet that not much will be left so it's this big can of tuna for me!

    Save the Earth, buy big containers and freeze some
    You can drain and freeze tuna for up to 3 months, so if you don't want to use the whole can at once, you don't have to. Less waste, buy the big can and divy it up into usable amounts.

    Very economical. Prepared two tuna noodle casseroles, one serviced twelve the other eight. One large tuna salad for six. Great bargain for cat food.. Very appreciative at shelters.

    Big tuna is the way to go !
    I've not seen this large of a can in stores, so I ordered it. I was going to make Mexican tuna salad for a work function, and needed this much tuna. I set the recipe to ratios. The dry weight of this large can equals the dry weight of 12 small cans - perfect for me. And what a timesaver to open just one can instead of twelve ! And don't forget the free shipping when you order over (can't remember now). I ordered a second can for next time. I actually preferred the tuna texture in the large can because of the larger chunks. I'm very pleased, and will order more in the future.

    GREAT FOR GRADUATION PARTY SALAD!
    I GOT THIS TO MAKE MACARONI TUNA SALAD FOR MY GRANDSON'S HS GRADUATION. I THINK IT WILL TAKE MY 2 GIANT TUPPERWARE BOWLS AND 2 ICE CREAM PAILS TO HOLD ALL THE SALAD, BUT I AM SURE IT WILL ALL BE GONE. I JUST USE COOKED ELBOW MACARONI, MIRACLE WHIP, BLACK PEPPER, DRAINED CANS OF PEAS AND THE TUNA. IT SEEMS TO BE FINE FOR ANY AGE.
