Discontinued? Waaaa!
Verona has been my favorite coffee since I discovered it 20 years ago. Recently I was forced to give up caffeine for medical reasons so I started to look for Verona decaf only to find it has been discontinued! I have used Verona exclusively for years and to try to find a replacement is going to be difficult to say the least. Starbucks please reconsider!

Too Strong
I wanted to like this coffee but unfortunately it was a little too strong too bitter for my personal taste. I typically actually like Starbucks coffee but this one just didn't resonate with me and I think you have to really like a very dark roast to truly appreciate this. This won't be a repurchase for me and I would not choose this particular blend in the future for myself but others may like it more than I do.

    My #1 Starbuck's Favorite
I have been a lover of Starbucks for years since I had my very first cup, and Cafe Verona is my #1 favorite of all. It's very balanced, bold but not bitter, and the perfect way I start my day. I'm also a big fan of Pike Place, House Blend, and Breakfast Blend, and it is not uncommon to see all four flavors in my pantry, but Cafe Verona remains my favorite. I also love the Starbuck's Guatemala K-Cups, but I have been unable to find for several years.

New tasting notes of Verona off key
I have enjoyed Verona blend for several years. The notes of cocoa were much more pleasant than the dark cocoa & carmelized sugar. Please offer the original as well...is there a source for it?

The only way to start your day...!
I love this coffee! I have tried almost all of the Starbuck coffees and this is the only one that (to me, at least) has absolutely no bitterness to it. It's a smooth, rich, wonderful coffee. I typically only have one cup of coffee in the morning, but since trying this line, I not only have TWO cups, I have also been having one in the afternoon. Just amazing coffee! What more can I say? Try it!

    Yummy
The new Starbucks Caffe Verona Dark cocoa and burnt sugar notes is to die for! It is delicious and is just what I need for a morning and afternoon pick me up! My husband and I look forward to our morning coffee time together. We sit at the table and enjoy smelling the aroma, taste and just enjoying every minute.

    So Tasty and Strong
As this coffee began pouring into my mug, I could smell its sweet and chocolaty smell throughout my house. The color of the coffee is almost a black with a hint of brown. I could really taste the dark cocoa and the burnt sugar. It is a smooth taste. The coffee is really strong in flavor and has the necessary amount of caffeine that kept me going throughout the day. All and all, this coffee is awesome in both strength and flavor.

    Woah
I am loving this new coffee! I'm usually not into anything with a strong taste but this was good. You can really taste the dark cocoa on it. It made 10 generous size cups of coffee. I've tried a few Starbucks coffees and they are all great, but this one is exceptional.

    Well balanced, but strong
I received two boxes of this coffee free with my purchase of a Verismo brewer. After sampling two cups, I find that the brew is too strong for me. Now this is a dark roast, and I have tried dark roasts with the Keurig machine as well, but this is a very strong brew. I usually drink my coffee black, but if you add milk and/or sugar, it may be more palatable for those who generally don't drink dark roasts. I found the flavor, however, quiet pleasing. I'd use descriptive terms, but my palate is not that discerning. I will probably use this coffee in place of an espresso shot for iced coffee drinks. I love adding a shot or two of espresso to the Starbucks Frappuccino drinks.
