Great Coffee, Poor Packaging
I love VIA coffee. It's the best way to make a single cup of coffee. But the packaging is incredibly wasteful. My enviro-guilt takes a big bite out of the pleasure I get from the coffee. I really, really, really wish that VIA was available in jars, or other recyclable bulk packaging.

    I have been buying Italian Dark Roast for ever directly from Starbucks, this is my first time from Walmart. I just ought a new coffee grinder so will grind my own coffee from now on. The Italian roast is dark and strong and makes a good satisfying cup of coffee.

    Strong real coffee with that caramelly aftertaste and no bitterness. Its the best Starbucks coffee so far.

    Life Changing
    So I usually don't like dark roast coffee because I'm one of those people that puts tons of sugar and cream into my coffee in order to drink it. But I had one of these instant packets and used it one day and thought I'd have to put tons of cream and sugar in it to drink it but I put a little half and half and a little vanilla flavoring and some ice in it and I tasted it and my life was changed. My perspective on coffee is changed and I love this coffee so much!! 10/10 recommend even if you don't really like the taste of coffee!!

    One of my favorites
    I love using Italian roast for espresso. I usually buy it along with Espresso roast and switch back and forth. Italian is slightly darker and richer which makes a good change.

    Consistently Good
    I like whole beans and find it is worth the effort to grind them. Alos whole bean means you are not getting fillers that companies toss into the mix. Starbucks is consistent and I like that. I prefer a dark coffee flavour and this delivers.

    Can't go a day with out it
    I only drink Starbucks Italian and French Roast coffee. I buy it on line because in a store it costs more for 12 oz. bag where on line it is the same price for 16 oz. bag. I will always drink Starbucks coffee until the coffee cup falls from my cold dead hands. Before it was in the stores in Leavenworth, Kansas, my daughter in Seattle would send it to me. I'm 70 years old and have lived and traveled around the world and I've never found a finer coffee. I have no relationship and have never had any relationship with Starbucks except as a happy customer. Thank you

    My Favorite Roast ---- EVER
    I've been buying Starbucks Italian Roast coffee for YEARS now, at least like 8 years! I've tried other roasts, even by Starbucks, and they're okay...Probably Sumatra is my second favorite. I've even tried many other brands of 'dark roast' coffees, but bottom line, the Italian Roast is the best ever!! I enjoy brewing my coffee at home, so I can make it nice-and-STRONG! And this coffee has the best strong flavor without the bitter taste that most other dark roasts have. Anyways, don't hesitate to buy this one...You'll be glad you did!!! But be careful....it'll spoil you! When you drink coffee at friends or family or even restaurants, their coffee will never live-up to the coffee you make!! :)
