Just "Meh" Espresso
I was not aware of Starbucks Espresso Roast Nespresso Capsules before trying them for this review program. I have tried the free sample and am not impressed, maybe a little disappointed. Compared to Nespresso's own dark/intense roast, it was not as flavorful. Same as compared to Brandless brand Dark Roast. The Starbucks is less well-rounded and lacks depth. It is pretty much one-note: bitter. It is definitely a dark roast but it would be hard for me to say it is intense. Even the crema dissipated fairly quickly so I lost out on any sweetness or richness from it. I would not buy these for myself as there are other dark, intense Espresso roast Nespresso capsules that I enjoy more. Therefore, I cannot recommend these Starbucks Espresso Roast Nespresso Capsules to others, either.others

    Great product but poor shipping
    Coffee pods were great but they arrived crushed from shipping. One was broken and others mangled. I will try again.

    Feeds my Addiction !
    Love the flavor of this Nespresso pod. My favorite so far. This by far has been the most consistent brand/flavor of pod I have had over the past few years since I started using single pods. Americanos are my usual drink so it is easy for me to notice small changes to the roast flavor. And sometimes they all change for some reason. I hate getting a bad batch but it happens with all of them.

    Best and strongest espresso I have ever found!
    I like very strong coffee or espresso and there are very few out there that are strong enough for my taste this being called the strongest. Love this coffee and decaf also IveI like very strong coffee or espresso and there are very few out there that are strong enough for my taste this being the strongest.     One of my two favorites
    I did a lot of sampling to determine my favorite Nespresso pods. The Starbucks espresso is smooth, with notes of caramel, and very low acid. The 10 pack is 90 cents each, the 50 pack is about 72 cents each. My other favorite is Peets Ristretto (which I enjoy at 40ml espresso strength). The Peets Ristretto is a little bit bolder, but more acidic.

    A good and strong coffee
    Since I moved from Brazil to Charlotte I was missing a strong Coffee. But I finally found with Starbucks Nespresso. It's strong and tastes good. I would buy again and again. I didn't knew about the product, but now I extremely recommend!
