Great American Made Tires For A Low Price!
Great Tires! We wouldnt hesistate purchasing them again. I did tons of research looking for the best combination of performance and value in a tire and With the Starfire Solarus AS I found it. Here’s what makes them such a great value; 1st: The tires are made in the U.S.A. by Cooper Tires at their Mississippi Plant. 2nd: They have a great UTQG (Uniform Tire Quality Grading) which is the grading standard set by the DOT and the National Highway Traffic Administration. Which grades 3 areas of all tires’ performance, which are Treadwear, Traction and Temperature Resistance. Treadwear is measured against a control tested tire with a baseline 100 score. This tire is rated at 520 which means the tread lasting about 5x longer than the average and is among the top 6% of all tires. Traction grades, from highest to lowest, are AA, A, B and C. They represent the tire's ability to stop on wet pavement, the Starfire rates as A. The temperature grades, from highest to lowest, are A, B and C. These represent the tire's resistance to the generation of heat at speed. This tire is rated A so it is able effectively dissipate heat up to a maximum speed that is greater than 115 mph. The Starfire Solarus AS offers an enhanced tread compound and tread profile for all-season traction. The tire is designed to provide a smooth ride with controlled handling, and features deep, lateral shoulder grooves to ensure excellent traction throughout the life of the tire. Strategically placed sipes provide biting edges in wet, dry and winter conditions. With impressive UTQG ratings, a low price ($52 per tire for my 215/65/16s) 52 available sizes and oh I forgot a 50,000 miles warranty! They are a no brainer for your next set of tires!

Poor Quality Tire
poor quality tire. less than two weeks of driving on this tire and it is already damaged with a whole inside. there is a bump on the side of the tire and i have been advised not to drive on that tire due to safety risk.

These are great tires for the price!
I put these on my 2015 Kia Optima. About 500 miles in and, so far, I love them. They are much quieter than the Goodyears that were on before. Gas mileage is about the same. The car handles better and drives great. It was a very noticeable difference. Time will tell on these tires but so far, for the money, you absolutely cannot beat them!

    Great Tires - Great Price
Bought 2 of these tires in 1/2020 for a 2016 Kia Soul. Great Price and they are actually made by Cooper Tire. They have really good traction over all. In snow they were decent too but the Kia Soul is very light car also. I like them so much I bought 2 more in April 2021. Plus you can't go wrong on the price at Walmart to mount and balance. $14 each. Some of your tire stores charge up to $50 a tire.

Best bang for ur buck and it's a real banger
The Solarous Starfire is an absolute great deal. Much smoother and quieter ride than the stock Nexen tires. Traction on wet roads =A . Traction in snow =A ( we just got 12 inches of winter madness. Snow to ice to snow to ice). We put these tires on our Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. Total price installed with the hazard protection= just under $420. The price just can't be beat.

    Not a good wearing tire
After 9 months and 12,500 miles they are worn out. This is on my 2015 Town and Country. My husband rotated them as they should be
