Not for Cardinals.
This feeder is not suitable for cardinals. The advertisement and packaging clearly indicate that this feeder is suitable for cardinals but the bottom feeding tray is too narrow for cardinals to approach and perch. Finches and other birds smaller than cardinals can feed easily. The upper feeding ports are not intended for cardinals but the bottom tray should have been designed to better accommodate cardinals. I had to modify it to accommodate cardinals otherwise feeder would have earned 5 stars.
