I I purchased garden hose guide from walmart.com my husband needs a new water hose guide and he said he really liked it, because it is not too big he say that it just right for him and he like the wicker pattern

This is garbage. There is no foot hold to keep the box down while reeling in. The box just goes all over the place. It doesn't automatically line the hose on the reel either. It just snaps together and comes apart when reeling in.

    Once I figured out how the water was getting through it was easy to setup. I love the look of the hose disappearing from the yard once everything is all rolled up. So far I haven't had any problems.

    Disappointment
    would not recommend this item. Hose guide was included but not mentioned in the set up instructions; and it doesn't work. Hose does not wind evenly. Very disppointed.

    Great Hose Reel!
    I think this hose reel is very nice. I just got it a few days ago and it was easy to assemble. The hose does glide smoothly when I am pulling it from the reel. The quality seems nice for a plastic reel. I do like the color and the look of it. I would recommend this hose reel.

    looks nice at first, but has issues.
    The guide that the hose runs through doesn't run on a track as the handle is being cranked. So, you have to be careful when winding the hose up that it doesn't bunch in one spot. The guide is a free moving piece that assumes your hose will wind correctly. Also, the top holds water. I have the trashcan and deck box that match this set. I love the way they look, but I would have bought a sturdier hose hideaway.
