Love the smell!
I really love this sunscreen! It smells so very good! It is like coconut or something else yummy. I thought it was like a body lotion almost with its smell. I put on more before I needed it because I liked the smell so much. That is something I have never came across with a sun block like this. So I will very much so be buying this again when we run out. I have sensitive skin and it did not bother me. I did not break out from it. It was a very nice thick white texture going on. It was not too thick, but enough to get great coverage with it. It was very white and kind of stayed like that though. I did not mind because my skin is very fair, but if someone was tanner then you would really be able to tell they were wearing it. It was not a real greasy protection at all and it seems very natural and better for your skin than the average sunscreen that I have seen. I have not got to see how it acts on a very sunny day yet though. I suspect it would hold up very well. I used it on my young kids too and they did not fight it as much as they normally do for others so I am not sure why but it was nice.

Heavier than I thought
I thought this sunscreen would be lightweight enough to wear on a daily basis but after an hour of applying it to my face I was covered in a white mask, which I ended up wiping off. The waterproof base to it definitely works. I had to wash my hands multiple times with soap to remove it. It would be good for a day at the beach or by the pool because it doesn't rub in and absorb into your skin. There is hardly a scent and even used on my face it didn't irritate my eyes. It just wasn't the sunscreen for me but others might enjoy it.

    Fantastic sunscreen!
    I chose to review this sunscreen as part of the Spark Reviewer program. This Beauty by Earth sunscreen is SPF 25 and is apparently the highest SPF offered by this company. The bottle advertises the formulas as broad spectrum, biodegradable and water resistant 80 minutes. I also like that it is safe for all skin types and for adults and children. It is a thick formula and definitely requires a little extra time to massage it into the skin, but I felt my family and I were protected from the sun. It doesn't feel greasy at all. I especially love wearing it on my shoulders, which tend to get the most sun and are prone to sunburn. I haven't gotten a sunburn with wearing this product, and I feel comfortable using it on my children as well. It is chemical free (no parabens, oxybenzone, nano-particles, chemical fragrances, phalates, retinyl palmitate, Paba, etc.) and has a nice, light scent so I don't walk around smelling like coconut all day! As with any sunscreen, smart application and use is key to keeping yourself protected from the sun's harmful rays. I tend to wear a wide brimmed hat when I am at the pool and will continue to do so with this product. I had never tried any products from this company, but I would definitely purchase this product in the future.

    Elegant texture!
    I took this sunscreen on a 7 day Carribean cruise, and I really enjoyed using it! The texture blended beautifully, although it did come out a little thick and took some “working in” to the skin. Knowing that this product is reef safe made it that much more enjoyable to use! I reapplied every two hours, and it never felt heavy or greasy - it just kept layering beautifully. The scent was light, and it didn't clash with the perfume I wore. The only downside to this is that it is 4oz, so that doesn't make it TSA carry on compliant, but that can be remedied by checking the bag. Other than that, I really enjoyed wearing this sunscreen and not harming reefs while doing so!

    Beauty by Earth's Mineral Sunscreen With Natural and Organic Ingredients, Water Resistant Sunblock Lotion for Travel, Sport, or Baby is pretty great. It contains Non-nano uncoated Zinc Oxide 14% which is a typically safe ingredient for adults, children, and babies. It has UVA and UVB Broad Spectrum Protection and is gentle for kids and babies. This sunscreen smells so good! I love that it has organic ingredients plus it smells like the beach. It's biodegradable and reef safe! When I traveled to another country they asked us to let our sunscreen dry completely before entering the water because sunscreen hurts coral reefs, which I had no idea about. This sunscreen is listed as reef safe which makes me like it even more. Protecting our oceans and their wildlife should be very important to everyone. This sunscreen is listed as water resistant for 80 minutes which is pretty typical. Reapplying is needed after entering the water and 80+ minutes have passed. I tested the sunscreen on my wife at the beach. She had worn a different bathing suit the day prior, so her chest was pale. She had a small base tan, but still required sunscreen so we used this as an SPF 25. She was only out in the sun an hour or 2 and didn't re-apply but it did well. The next day she was in the sun much longer and there was picture proof that the sunscreen worked because she only applied it to her chest and shoulders and the top of her arms were burnt under where she applied the sunscreen (see attached pictures). Overall we really like this sunscreen and we trust it for ourselves and children. It smells great and has a nice consistency. It is thick, but does rub in well and fades off the surface of the skin. I also love all the natural ingredients like aloe, coconut oil, and sunflower oil, to list a few. I recommend it if you looking for a safer alternative to the popular sunscreen brands.

    Even though it has a low SPF, it is very effective. I spent several hours out in the sun and did not get burnt. It looks and feels luxurious and the scent is amazing! It is very smooth to apply and a little goes a long way. It doesn't make my eyes water or sting them when they're applied around my eyelids. The previous brand I used made me feel like I want to claw my eyes out, so this is a big plus. It smells light and delicious and feels great on my skin. This stuff works, guys! It seriously is great and it is all-natural and great for those that have an allergy to all the nasty chemical-laden sunscreens on the market. Do yourself a favor and treat your body to some GOOD all-natural reef-safe sunscreen this summer (and all-year 'round, because you know...the sun only sleeps at night, 'yall!). The only cons are that this stuff is pretty thick and it will make you look like a ghost. I already look like a ghost as I'm pretty pale. Plus, this isn't a huge con to me as I find it's way more important to me to avoid skin cancer than it is to avoid pasty skin. Think about it- do you want wrinkly leathery skin down the road or do you want semi-white skin that is protected from UVB and UVA rays?

    Long coverage but scent changed while wearing it
    Has a slight coconut smell. I wore it all day long and it does last all day. Its a thick white cream. The one thing that I didn't like was that the scent changed for me during the day. I didn't realize until later. It smelled like clothes you put away in your attic for a long time, a musky smell. I will give it that It did last all day long until I washed it off. It went on smooth and was dry to the touch. Was not sticky at all. Just the scent became overpowering at the end of the day.

    Recently I got this mineral sunscreen, I usually don't use this brand of sunscreen. The texture of this sunscreen was smooth and a little thick than I am use to but all in all it work for my skin tone. It wasn't sticky which is a plus. I also liked the scent. The scent was a light smell not overbearing like some sunscreen. I would recommend this mineral sunscreen to anyone just for the scent alone.

    Protectes me and gave me a nice color skin
    I donr like to use sunblock in ny body that frecuently because i feel i end kind of a dar color after their use. Butt with this i feel i look like tan instead of dar... if you know what i mean. I have to use more sunblock because I hace 1 year old baby so she loves to be outside and i live in miami. At the beggining you can see the white cast in your skin, but after a few minutes ia gone. Its not watery , it has a more dense feeling. The smell i think is a little bit strong at the begging but after a few minutes is gone. I am not saying is bad, is just you can smell something but its a nice smell. ;) I like the fact is a coral and reef save product. Its my first sunblock of this Type.

    sun protection with sweet scent
    I could say we get lucky to have sunscreen SPF 25 for our outdoor activities this summer. We received this product as a spark reviewer, very timely for the whole family summer adventures. The first time we used it was for 2 hour biking at Governor's Island, we have fun knowing our skin (from us parents to our youngest four-year-old child) is protected with sunscreen SPF 25. It is for all skin types, great for children and all other activities. My first impression to this sunscreen is the vanilla-like scent (as if I'm wearing a sweet smelling cologne, but not overwhelming), it reminds me of a purple yum dessert, that I like so much. It is not too greasy or thick on my skin, it is more like a silky smooth feel when you apply. Definitely way more better to other brands we have used before. The packaging in the brown box is impressive, it comes with 118 ml (4fl. oz.) tube. It really helps us prevent sunburn (after two hrs of biking under 90 degree Fahrenheit), we trust this brand knowing it helps reduces the risk of skin cancer and early signs of aging. We did apply sunscreen 15 minutes before biking and reapply after two hours. Our next adventure will be paddle boarding and kayaking at Irvington Beach, we could use this sunscreen and reapply after 80 minutes of fun under the sun. Choose a brand that worth you money and safe for everyone plus reef safe with nice sweet scent.

    I really loved this sunscreen!!! It's broad spectrum, biodegradable, and water resistant for 80 minutes. SPF 25 and reef safe. It is for use on all skin types, including sensitive skin, it's also good for kids and people that are into sports and outdoor activities. I love that this free of parabens, oxybenzone, nano particles, chemical fragrances, phthalates, retinyl palmitate, paba, and all the other stuff our skin really don't really need. I like that this marine friendly, non-toxic, eco-safe, physical sunscreen, provides UVA and UVB protection from the sun. i love the smell of this, not too strong, everything about it is just right. I use this product every time i go outside now that I got it and it's wonderful! I did get this product for free to try for being a spark reviewer.
