Great phone
I like that I could switch all my contacts and data from my old Samsung to this using the smart switch app. It's very useful and the graphics are great when taking pics

Item Description
I was waiting for S5 for almost a year. Finally arrived on April 10th with AT&T pre-order. Expected alot and was impressed too. But issues started next day. The frustrating problem is "Black Lock Screen". It was not coming up even after 2 to 3 min. And had issues with calling "Call not sent" and also some app clicks are not responsive for example "Active Applications" have to click 5 to 6 times. And the phone is freezing alot. So I called AT&T customer service and they told me to factory reset. I did that but problem persists even after factory reset. Then AT&T replaced with new phone. But still having the same issues. The most frustrating issue is lock screen issue. I have installed 3rd party lock screen but still have issues. When screen is locked, screen is not coming up even though you press Home button or power button and menu light lits. I know this could be a Kitkat 4.2.2 problem but Samsung has to fix this. Please fix this ASAP. These issues at the starting will impact the sales.

    Good Deal
I damaged the screen on my Note3 and refused to pay Tmobile's prices for a replacement phone. So happy I checked out Walmart. This phone works well, my only complaint is the speaker feature. People cannot hear me or my voice is broken. My sim card transferred to the new phone with ease. No need to call customer service. I have a monthly plan with Tmobile, so yes, you can use these phones instead of purchasing from Tmobile's site.

    T-mobile Galaxy S5
Great price; great phone; quick delivery! This is a brand-new phone, NOT refurbished like others in this price range. I used my own T-mobile SIM card (I didn't activate the Prepaid card) and it works perfectly with my T-Mobile plan. GREAT VALUE for a great phone!

    Best phone ever!
This is the best phone ever made. The only down fall I have found with it, is that I had to pay full price because of my service provider (Walmart Family Share).

    Water Resistant ????
I bought Samsung Galaxy S5 from AT&T for my son in april 2014. Within less than 4 months starting having problem. You can't hear anything when He call. We brought it to AT&T for replacement, AT&T said is water damaged and Samsung will not replace it, Samsung advertised it as " water resistant " ?????? Very disappointed with their warranty. I would think twice before buying anything from samsung

    The Best
Thanks Walmart for providing the easiest and least expensive way to have a GS5 set up with a T-Mobile PREPAID 4G/LTE account. T-Mo leads the way in offering excellent services with their prepaid and contract accounts. Purchasing this phone outright can save you a significant amount of money over a contract while also having access to the best phone services available. This phone is locked to T-Mobile services so only use a micro-SIM that will allow the full potential from T-Mobile services. Purchasing this new GS5 from Walmart, it will arrive with a T-Mobile micro-SIM card already INCLUDED in the box, and once inserted and the battery is fully charged, just a call to T-Mobile should have you up and running within minutes. Look for the step by step instructions and ACTIVATION CODE in the included pamphlet. You will need the SIM card number listed on the SIM card, and you will also need to associate a four digit PIN Number with your new T-Mobile account. New selling points for the GS5 are the bigger screen, and user activated provisions such as the fingerprint reader and heartbeat counter. Other things like new apps and the USB 3.0 connector add some new complications that will be overcome as they evolve to the norm. Overall, versatility has improved with better components, and Samsung does not disappoint with this latest achievement. With an ever growing library of useful Android apps combined with the fastest data processing speeds available to smartphones, it is little wonder why the Galaxy remains the favorite of so many. My daily routine would be shy a versatile referencing tool without this phone close by.
