You c an hear this unit 100 feet away
Loud, obnoxious, meets local requirements too. I paid $30 a piece for mine to pass the required door alarm for exits to pool.

Ugly and poor design
Awkward rounded contacts to fit on slider doors where you have to connect to the door surround. Ugly grey color with huge text on the front. The added wires/contacts for a fly screen work but add even more ugly to the unit.

    Simple install, very loud
    This door alarm is very easy to install. It took maybe 10 minutes if that. When pushing the bypass button, the low battery light blinks indicating that it's safe to open. The alarm itself is extremely loud, which is expected... you know because it's an alarm. The battery compartment is tough to open, which is a good thing you don't want little hands being able to remove the battery and open the door.

    Work Good, but don't look good - Limited Options
    Required for any entry to pool from house (windows and doors). I had to buy 6 of them and they work as advertised. With limited options to buy that meet the requirements I am using these. I do wish they were designed to look a bit nicer. Recommend ordering them in advance of when you need them as they are out of stock in many places and sometimes hard to get.
