Amazing! It's like adding a new lane in my Wi-Fi
It seems like technology is advancing so fast these days that as soon as you come home with the latest smart-thing it begins to put a strain on your home network and you have to deal with slower and slower speeds with all your connected devices. This is what I have found to be the case with modems and routers. You're going from megabits one year to gigabits the next. Not too long ago I had to upgrade my cable modem due to the new technology that the cable companies had, just to find that the router had to be upgraded also to take advantage of it. With all the Wi-Fi devices in our homes today my last router was being overwhelmed and once again it's time to upgrade. The latest upgrade I did was with the TP-Link Archer AX1500 Wi-Fi 6 Dual-Band Router, it is designed to handle the amount of devices that we have in our homes of today with up to 1.5Gbps Speeds & 1.5 GHz Tri-Core CPU. I was getting bogged down and had to keep clearing my devices out of my older router in order for it to process the running devices that my family was using at the time. Since upgrading to the Wi-Fi 6 (6th generation) router it's now keeping up with all my devices like security cameras, smart TVs, tablets, music players, phones, so on and so on. They say that it's like adding a new lane to the highway and so far I can see the different in download speeds.

CHEAPLY BUILT
Be very very very careful if you decide to purchase this unit. I do tech support for an international electronics company and did A/V installation for almost 10 years prior. I am very familiar with electronics and know how to handle them. Upon opening this unit, I went to rotate one of the antenna's at the pivot point and it was a tiny bit stiff and the antenna popped off of the two TINY tabs used to hold the antenna on to the pivot point. When it popped off, the 30 gauge (or smaller) TINY wire broke. Also, this unit is advertised as being backwards compatible with older equipment. As soon as I opened the box, there was a piece of paper sticking out that says that if your older device does not work with this unit to try to update the software on that device to see if it works and, if not, to connect your devices manufacturer to see if they have an update that will make the device work with this router. Based on this, it should be listed as being compatible with "some" older devices. Now I have to deal with good old wally world on a return. Have to go into the store - exactly what I was trying to avoid and the reason for ordering online!!! Also, If the only language you speak is English, forget about calling walmarts customer care. It has been moved outside of the USA...go walmart!!! This device may work well but BE VERY VERY CAREFUL WITH IT!! IF YOU SO MUCH AS SNEEZE NEAR IT, IT WILL BREAK!!!

    Budget Price for STELLAR Performance! Incredible!!
    I am mind blown to have been able to get such a robust product at under $70! Does WAY more than I could possibly imagine. Great Product and so simple to setup. I have since bought an ADDITIONAL Archer AX1500 to install in a friends Small Business!!! Glad to be of help. I hope I never have to contact support, but would only assume it would be great:)

    Works great!
    I got this router and replaced the one I was paying a monthly fee on through the cable company. My house is about 1400 square ft with a full basement. I am not the most tech savvy guy but it was easy to hook up. The box itself is small and can fit about anywhere. My streaming has worked perfect. It doesn't freeze up and doesn't take long to load up. I only steam movies so I can't speak for gaming. I am extremely pleased with this product.

    I replaced a different brand that was about a year or so old. This router improved my speed quite a bit. Streaming is so much better than before. I will not go back to my previous brand after using this one. The speed would most likely be better if my devices support the new AX format. But the overall performance increase i am seeing is still quite pleasing.

    Easy to setup and use
    This device is thin, incredibly easy to set up, and very straight forward. It even has a card to tell you your ssid's as well as the website to configure the router your own way. You will need a modem to run this as it is only for wifi, but has exceptional coverage. We had issues with some of our devices running well on out wifi but this device has eliminated the issue.

    Fast, no dead spots in the house
    I use music, video streaming. I can run streaming on several tvs and phones simultaneously with no problems. Reaches every part of my house and no lag. Easy to install. I like the app. Makes it easier to configure. Be sure to do a firmware update as soon as you install.

    Quite adequate
    I got this product through the Sparks Review Program and did not buy it, but I think it is a nice router for the price. I have no complaints using this. The setup utility is easy to use. You're up and running in about five minutes. Some of the settings could use more explanation in the setup wizard. Most people won't know what stuff like “MAC: address is, and it's not exactly clear that its ok to click NEXT a bunch to leave almost everything at the default settings. It's very configurable, lots of features people might enjoy having. It broadcasts on two bands, 5 GHZ and 2.4 GHz for older devices. You can configure them together or as separate networks with a few button clicks. Seems to have good range and start up time.. I didn't notice anything flaky and didn't have to restart it, There are faster routers that cost more money, but for the average household, this seems more than adequate.

    Fast and Stable Router
    I am reviewing the Tp-Link Archer AX1500 Wi-Fi 6 Dual-Band Router. This router is awesome and was so easy to connect and setup. First of all, in the package, you will receive a Wireless Router AX1500, power adapter, RJ45 ethernet cable, and a quick installation guide. You will also receive a Tp-Link Wi-Fi Info Card. This card will give you the Tp-Link default SSIDs and Password. It will tell you a website that you can go to manage your router or to use the Tether App. They have space on this card so you can write your own Wi-Fi name, Password and your Login Account. You should keep this card for the information on it. It was very smart of them to include this. I used the web address that they provided. It was as easy as A, B, C. Just follow the instructions online. You can also register for the Tp-Link Cloud Service so you can keep up with your smartphone or tablet while you are out and about. The speeds of this router are up to 1.5 Gbps. This thing allows parental control. I didn't expect that. Not all routers do this. Expensive models do for sure. It can manage when and how the connected devices can assess the internet. It prioritizes which device needs the fastest speeds. It has different access for guests to keep the home network safe and secure. It has 1.5 GHz Triple-Core Cpu. It has 1 WAN Port and four LAN Ports. The wireless is 5 GHz + 2.4 GHz and is compatible with 11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi Standards. The router itself is 10.2 x 5.3 x 1.5 inches. Best of all, it is compatible with Amazon Alexa. This router works great. I hooked up my Ps4, my laptop, and my smart tv into it. I didn't see any lag time. Everything worked great and fast. I highly recommend this Router.
