Light wasn't very bright and battery didn't last
The light wasn't very bright and the battery didn't stay charged for very long. I charged the batteries for several hours until the indicator displayed all green lights. I turned the unit on and then off. When I turned on the headlamp the next day, the lights didn't come on until after I started charging the battery again. Thus, it appeared as it wouldn't work for very long and would not be usable for hiking or running.

    Good unit--Bad batteries?
    I like the lantern itself but i have had problems with the rechargable batteries. No directions came with the lantern. The unit came with a charge indicator, but it is not clear when the batteries are fully charged. The unit with turn off without warning while in use. I recharged and thought it was fully charged after 24 hours. It failed after only 5 hours use on low setting. I don't know if I was shipped a failing battery or if I am doing something wrong. Since this is a third party purchase and I it was manufactured in China (I found this out when I received it.) If the dealer reads this and if any other users have suggestions I wish they would leave a note on how to solve this.

    NO directions or packinglist as usual
    There are no instuctions for operating the light. I had it on the usb charger for hours. i don't have any idea how much charge it receved. No name to search for instructions on the internet. No website. I find this typical of items purchased online from companies selling through major online sources. like Walmart Amazon etc. I would rather go to a store and be able to see what I am buying and how it works.

    Great value
    Lights up the 'world'. I was pleasantly surprised at how bright it is. With a ball cap, it's comfortable too although the battery pack is solid.
