Cute Toy
My step son absolutely loves trains. Imagine his excitement when this little gem came into his world. The quality of this little train is awesome. It's a nice size and perfect for his little hands. It rolls and he rolled it for a good hour or so and added it to his other trains. He was in train heaven. The woodwork of this train is immaculate and will bring joy to everyone who loves them. Good train, nice details
Overall, this was a very good addition to our train set. The train has great detail, feels solid and getting the coal hopper with it was a lot of fun for our 4 gear old. The train fits on the standard wood train tracks we've all grown up with. If there is a problem it's that the train is too tall to fit under the bridges in the basic starter set you buy at the well known build it yourself furniture store. This isn't so much a FP problem as much as the fact that all the stuff designed to work together across brands doesn't very well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Simple yet fun!
    We started purchasing these wooden Thomas and Friends trains about 4 years ago. They are beautifully made and hold up well against toddlers' rough play. It's wonderful to have a toy that doesn't need batteries and promotes imaginative play, and there is a great selection to choose from.     Awesome addition to trains
    This train was a perfect addition to my child's Thomas train sets. The construction holds up crashes and dog grabbing. The paint is vibrant and detailed. wooden trains are heavy enough to stay put but won't hurt if dropped on a toe. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Thomas & Friends Wood Merlin the Invisible train is awesome! My son's absolutely love this train and play with it from the time they get up in the morning till they fall asleep at bedtime. Especially my 4 year old son who is really into Thomas & Friends trains and tracks right now. This train has been so durable considering how rough my son's can sometimes play with their toys. The paint on the train hasn't scratched and hasn't chipped off at all. The colors are so vibrant and beautiful. The wheels are very well built and assembled.     This Wood Merlin the Invisible set is a great addition to our growing Thomas trains collection. My littles both love it!     We received this toy and my little ones instantly fell in love. They've always been fans of wooden trains and this one was their favorite. My youngest has taken Merlin everywhere with him.
