EZ read watch
I bought this watch for my 87 year old father who is a certified clock watcher. He loves the watch. The watch face is easy to read during the day, and at night, depress the winding stem makes the face glow. The only issue we had was with the band. The first couple links in the band on either side of the watch don't bend, they are fused together. It is not a bad feature for normal wearing, but my dad doesn't wear his watch on top of his wrist, rather on the side. That way he can read the time without moving his arm. The non-bending links cause the band to not form to his wrist. I fixed that issue with a spare Speidel band I had laying around.

Not Happy with Gold Wear
I bought this watch on January 7 and now, two months later, I see the gold is worn down throughout the whole band. Disappointed that this would happen.

    takes a lickin' and keeps on ticking
    I've been using this style Timex watch for at least 25, maybe 30 years. I think this is my forth or fifth one. Infact it was so long ago I used to be able to read the date without glasses, not so anymore. I've been so happy with this watch, I wouldn't care if there were no other kind. I used to have watches that cost ten times as much and after a year or two they were trash. I'm a drummer and this watch gets thrashed on my wrist every day and they have lasted for years.

    Greatest watch for an older man.
    My husband loves everything about this Timex watch. He loves the stretch band so he no longer has to struggle with the buckle on his leather band, he loves the big face because he can tell time without his glasses on and he really loves that it lights up. I bought it for his birthday and he showed it off to the kids and grandkids.

    A durable watch.
    Timex makes a good, basic, durable wrist watch for the working person. My husband is hard on his watches and this one stands up to his hard use.

    Love the watch and will always believe in Timex!
    I have one expensive watch, a rare Moodyblues custom watch, which I only wear on dates with my wife! For everyday wear, I have always worn Timex watches since I was a teenager, and I am almost 71 years old now! Timex is always good and great for the cost! This watch is no exception I love it

    Great watch. All twelve numbers. Lighted face and date display. Bought for my grandson as his first fancy watch. He calls it gold and silver metal and he wears it with his new little league tournament championship rings.

    Good looking watch
    I bought this watch for my 91 year old father because of the large face and easy reading and the expansion band. He really likes it. He likes the fact that it lights up. It is a very good looking watch with the two tone colors. The price was great too.
