Very Nice
So, the day before my b-day i was with my nephews, and i wanted something fun for them, they wanted Battlefront... There they were, the division and battlefront staring at me through the glass, and because of them begging, i decided on Battlefront. After a disappointing (but kinda fun) night of Star Wars (being limited splitscreen with no walker assault, or team play, or big splitscreen teams etc.) i took it back the next day, however after i told them what the division was, they were pretty excited. They didn't really get to play, and went home, but i have had a LOT of fun with The Division, and don't regret getting it. There are a ton of guns, playstyles, gear, guns, a good multiplayer, a ton of guns... a multitude of GUNS... and the co op is great, while the Dark Zone is a bit different from your typical pvp (the clusterf*ck that is BO3) but very fun (i have only played dark zone beta, still trying to get gear) I would recommend this for everyone, even the hardcore cod player, since it is very easy to get used to. The only thing i would have to say is (i am going to get hate) why did they have to have the one GIRL mention she had a WIFE... was that to make liberals happy since the story is a BIT right-wing? Anyway, not bashing battlefront, i actually want to get it once it goes down in price, i just think you get more with the division.

Why you would blend the genres?
I received as a gift from a very lovely lady. So I am going to review this. Gameplay: Upon first impressions the game looks amazing and feels like a desolate GTA. The controls are responsive and it is nice to see movement ultimately unhindered. The theme is awesome. It feels like you are thrown in as an agent. Playing further it appears broken due to the DPS factor. Plan and simple, when playing a shooter DPS should not be involved when dealing with human beings. Lets take pen and pad RPG's. We will use Palladium. They use damage capacities. SDC versus MDC. Structural damage capacity versus Mega damage capacity. An unprotected human body has SDC allotted to each part of the body. At 1 to 5 SDC per slot. Most weapons do 1d6 SDC. This means if hit by a weapon in an unprotected part, the part is generally destroyed. Arm blew off, head blown off, etc. I must saying having to dump entire clips into someones head while his friends are flanking is a big dip to the realism or fun factor. This game is no Metal Gear. Because of the DPS mechanics a headshot is not a headshot, even though the enemy is wearing a hoodie. If the enemy had on a kevlar helmet I would give some slack. To me this is a broken aspect of the game and I must rate it low. 4/10 Graphics: Crisp! very good frame rate for me. The lighting and shadowing make things feel almost real. A joy to look at. From the clothes to the actual hair textures for different people. 9/10 Sound: Clear crisp sounds, very ambient. Guns sound great. Reloading changing clips sounds wonderful. Big thumbs up for the sound 9/10 Replay: Replay on this is huge. The best aspect of the game. You will be playing this so long as DLC keeps dropping if you can deal with the DPS issue. 10/10 All in All, this game is ambitious! The theme is awesome. Had it remained a shooter with minor Call of Duty like leveling and combat, this game would be great! But it tries to hard to pull in mechanics that make more sense with swords and armor. With that said it falls pretty short for me. Too bad too because I almost thought it could light a torch to Phantom Pain. But no way short!

    Can't stop playing
This game is great, have been playing since the day it came out. The game play reminds me a little of gears of war, but is still very unique. You can play by yourself and have fun, but co play is much more exciting. Discovering the city and finishing the mission has kept me locked in. I have been a strictly COD gamer in recent years, but I have played since this came out. The interface is advanced and takes a while to get used to, but it take advantage of all the controllers abilities. It also gives you tons of items in your arsenal to use. The extensive amount of detail and customization means an endless number of hours you can spend just on that. I've played so much it has started to strain my marriage. :)

    Take back your city!
Fantastic game with ALOT of customization options! And in typical Walmart fashion, I received my game on release day with no issues. This game may have had a bumpy online launch experience, but those issues are fixed and the immersive landscape of a plagued NYC gives unlimited potential of hours upon hours of fun, either solo or on multiplayer!

    A MMORPG-LIKE 3RD PERSON SHOOTER
I had no expectations of this game before buying it, but WOW. It has the feel of a MMORPG, but as a 3rd person shooter. Has a game like this been made before?! The levels are have a lot to explore and its cool how there are other players running around doing their own mission. I'm looking forward to playing with a friend at the same time. THUMBS UP!

    Best game ever!
This game is awesome to say the least! Game play is pretty easy to pick up especially if you are not a Call of Duty type player like me. Controls are a little tricky but will come naturally given time. It's not as fast paste as games in the CoD genre which is nice for me as I prefer that. I like my games that are slower and more methodical giving me time to actually enjoy the details of the game. Graphics are amazing and the overall plot is captivating. I really enjoy the endless weapons, armor, and skill customization. Also like the fact that you can go rogue and steal from other players. Sometimes you just want to be the bad guy you know. Overall I highly recommend this game for its graphics, detail, game play, and complexity.
