    Do not buy this.
    Do not buy this. It requires a Google account to run any functions. It will not allow you to sign in due to it's age. This model was made in 2013 and is obsolete.

    Costly For Shows
    I recently bought this product with hopes to eliminate cable bill. I have not found an application that gives me updated tv access. It seems that most of the Amazon shows cost to watch. The one application that has a monthly subscription is Netflix, and it's lower than cable. I have not tried the unit with hd cable box, but this will be my final step. The hook up was easy; I love the touch access remote. I was able to pair my tv, xbox, and sound bar with ease.

    Does not meet my expectation
    I purchase this so that I can directly browse on TV instead of browsing thru my laptop. The device is very convenient to install but remote does not work as it should function. Touch screen is there to browse but it selects the option after tapping couple of times on the touch screen pad. I try using thru arrow keys and OK button and that also does not work. I have attached the device thru HDMI (not using Wi-Fi) still the response to display web page is very slow in spite of my broadband speed is 25mpbs. So, I plan to return this product.

    nice device
    first off let me say if your looking for a full andriod device this is not for you. it is good at what it does and the remote for me is the best part. the remote runs everything and is very simple to setup. as for gaming onlive runs very smooth but you must have a usb gaming controller. very limited on apps but it does what it was built to do very well

    I am very happy with item it works great however I was not happy with fact that after buying the costar online for almost $100.00 I had to go to my local walmart store to buy an extra video cord that did not come with the costar. very disappointing. on top of it adding to the cost I was unable to use the costar till I went out and bought the other cord, kind of defeated the the purpose of ordering it online and having it delivered to my home.

    My Vizio Co-Star Experience
    I have a Vizio TV with VIA, WiFi, etc. so one would think, why do I need a product to give me internet apps, when my TV already has that support built in? The internet apps that come with the Vizio TV are limited, and from what I've determined, are backed by a component called 'Yahoo Store' and there simply are not that many apps to choose from. The Vizio Co-Star was created, in my opinion, to allow a much wider selection of apps, regardless of the kind of smart TV that you have. Also, the Co-Star in basically 'Android in a box' so your app variety is limited only to what is available in Google Play, which is certainly more extensive that the Yahoo Store mentioned previously. Also, for those of you that are considering the 'Onlive' game controller, I purchased that as well and configuring it for use with the Co-Star was fairly straightforward. A word of note: the USB dongle that comes with the controller should be plugged into the back of the Co-Star, not the TV. I would recommend this product!

    Worth the Money! If you are looking for a lot of streaming content then there are better ones out in the market. I was looking for a web browser and this one works well. The remote is kind of a little big but with time you get used to it. The mouse pad is very much usable and responsive.(Don't expect Applesc interface for 99$) Pros: Best web browser(chrome)/youtube/ functional remote/price Cons: takes a little time to get used to the remote Not a lot of content(this is NOT a Vizio issue but more specific to google platform), No light indicators on the vizio

    Very good product and great price
    Haven't use the browser and dlna video player is not that great. Amazon prime video and netfilx are fine. Overall very good product and lots of possibilities.
