I highly recommend this lip protection product.
I am so thankful that I finally found a sunscreen lip cream that really is made for sensitive skin. It is so creamy and smooth, and doesn't dry my lips. Also it doesn't have a white cast. Since I just received this, I don't yet know how it will protect my lips in the sun. But, because all of the Vanicream products that I have tried so far are quality products, I am assuming that the SPF 30 factor will be accurate.

RECOMMENDED BY MY DERMATOLOGIST, FOR SEVERELY CHAPPED LIPS, BUT I'M NOT A FAN. IT GOES ON MORE LIKE A MOISTURIZER, THAN A LIP PROTECTANT! I'D RECOMMEND GOING WITH DR. DAN'S CORTIBALM, WITH 1% HYDROCORTIZONE, LIP BALM. IF YOU ORDER IT AT THE WALMART PHARMACY, THEY HAVE IT WITHIN 24 HOURS, AND IT'S CHEAPER THAN ORDERING IT ATWALMART.COM!

    Pros: seriously moisturizing; spf Cons: white lips that don't go away (like Blistex does) This is a wonderful product if you don't mind going around with white lips. And the white is quite white; if you remember the zinc lifeguards used to put on their noses, you''re in the right ballpark. For me, I'm sticking with the Aquaphor lip balm. It has the same spf 30, but it's clear.

    Awesome for lips
    Its like a lotion that stays on your lips. You can feel it. It does streak white. I just continue to keep rubbing it in. The SPF is a plus.

    I wish this came in solid form
    The idea of this is fantastic, i just wish this came in solid stick form instead. Because it is so emollient i feel like i eat this more than i wear it. Dont get me wrong i dont regret buying it bc the formula is fragance free and non irritating but in lip balm form would make the application so much more easier to spread onto the lips. Also bc this is a physical sunscreen it does have a white tint- could possibly be unflattering on medium to dark skintones

    Dermatologists recommended to protect lips from sun exposure. Been using Vanicream for a week and find it goes on smooth and is quite soothing on my very dry lips. Would highly recommend this product for those who are concerned with protection from the suns rays.
