WORST IN THE UNIVERSE
First. you need to assemble bike. If you do it by you own warranty void (they will call to you bike shop to check if you file warranty claim). If you still decide do it by your own you will spend few days for tuning brakes. If you go to bike shop it will cost you $100. Why would you want to buy this bike if you can buy on $100 more expensive bike because you save on assemble?
Second. No free returns. You will pay about $90 if you decide to return. To big risk to lose money if something goes wrong.
Third. Bike has very poor quality of many parts. My chain broke two times through the year. Left pedal broke one time. Crank arms broke two times. Even bottom bracket boke one times. I've attached few photos as a proof. I used this bike only on flat roads. I had several bikes on course of 30 years and had less problems with them then problems with this bike.

It was carefully crated, and the package arrived in great shape. Assembly was relatively simple if you are moderately mechanically inclined and have common sense. If you've done it before, its a breeze. The seat is indeed small and uncomfortable. I had a gel seat so it's not an issue. There were absolutely NO issues with the components whatsoever. It wasnt even necessary to true the brake rotors. Gears shift flawlessly! The only thing I adjusted were the brakes and the front brake rotor as I installed the front wheel. The front forks have good adjustability. The tires haven't lost any air over the first week which indicates good quality rims, tires, and inner tubes. The bike is light, and aesthetically pleasing to look at. I'm not easy to please! For what I paid for this bike; and taking into account its features, I am well pleased!! Paid $399. Shipping was free. Walmart allows free returns for 30 days. If I were asked, I would recommend this bike without reservation.TalladegaPatron

With respect to all the other options, this is the one that convinced me the most to do road/trail and that it was moderately decent. Regarding the price, it seems to me that it is a very good purchase, sometimes it is better to spend a little more money and take something that serves you well for what you want than to save money and that you are not happy with the product you purchased.Alejandro

It has, to my knowledge, the best performance, specs and weight in this price range. With a mere 30lbs (including kickstand), it is superlight which really helps on steep climbs. The geometry is good for an XC bike and the suspension also works well. Excellent for grippy trails. The only drawback I can think of is that it does not have enough traction for highly uneven trails with loose rock and gravel. If you don't plan to ride such trails, this may be an excellent option.Unknown

For some butts it may be appropriate but I needed a bigger seat, which I bought. Much better after that. It's a good value bike otherwise. 29 inch wheels -- very good for tall people. I must admit that I paid someone to assemble it. He thought it was easy to do. I'll take his word for it.Matthew
