Great price, excellant customer service.
I have not had this motor for long but it is easy to mount and has meet my expectations. When I mounted the motor and was ready to put on the propeller I found that one of the blades was damaged. I called the 800 number and they had a new propeller to me in two days. I have used it only a few times and have had no problems. Moves my 17 foot bass tracker at a decent speed on only one battery. I opted for the salt water motor as I sometimes vacation in areas where it will be needed but most usage will be in fresh water. I was not willing to pay $700.00 or more for the same capabilities in the competitors motors. Only time will tell how well this will hold up and if this was a good investment.

Two things wrong with it: Power cable to battery is too short, mounted on bow I have to place battery on deck to reach it. Has a fuse which blew out the first time I used it. Brand new 12 volt marine battery. Fuse is proprietary one so I guess I have to have it shipped from Australia.

    Do not buy this motor!!
    After 4 months this motor began to corrode and rust, causing 2 parts to break. This motor no matter what they write cannot handle saltwater use. save yourself the time and money and buy a better brand.

    OK for Light Duty
    Doesn't appear to be as well made as the Minn Kota or Motorguide models- the machining is not very precise, the frame not as heavily made, the shaft is skinnier and weaker. Thrust seems weaker as well. They advertise as being an Australian company but the unit comes from China. I bought the saltwater version- it remains to be seen how it will hold up at the coast. Just tried on the lake in about a 7-10 mph wind. It was able to make headway against it. That said, it is half the cost of the others so you decide if it's worth a try.

    a GREAT inexpensive alternative to minn kota!
    Powerful, quiet, and good looking heavy duty bracket. I actually ordered the 54 inch Verdon on accident when i needed the 48 inch. I had an authorized service center shorten the shaft. While it was apart i added silicone to seal the head because i was surprised to not find a river gasket. Other than that i am perfectly satisfied with this motor.

    Great for any Fishing, not for the OCEAN.
    This BABY CAME IN HANDY WHEN WE WERE FISHING Marsh on the Coast when the Main Motor Quit at 10:00 PM at night, and it carried the crew back to safety.

    motor seems to work fine
    When I recieved the motor from fed ex, the box was all torn up. Looked like it was thrown out on the road. The motor itself,was in pretty fair shape,except for some scratches on the paint. I went ahead &,, mounted it on the boat.I havent used it much yet, but it seems to work ok.

    The trolling motor was just what I was looking for. It's built for saltwater use and I believe will hold up to the elements. The price was excellent compared to other units.
