Great Jacket!
I received the Wells Lamont Quilted Lined Flex Canvas Shirt Jacket with Sherpa Lined Fleece Hood a couple weeks ago it is sure a nice jacket. It's warm, comfortable, and not overly heavy. I wanted to have a coat for this winter so this is a perfect pick for me. I like the quilted hooded top with strings so I can wrap it around my head and a a zipper to zip it up and buttons to button up the jacket. It's a stylish jacket to so it goes with jeans and khakis. Good Fit, Warm Lining
This canvas jacket has a great outer shell that is tough yet soft and flexible. The lining is soft and warm yet not bulky and cumbersome. I especially like the fact that the inner liner has a zipper and the outer shell snaps closed. It prevents wind from blowing inside the closure. The inner liner has elastic at the ends of the sleeves, sealing the sleeve ends from wind and drafts too. It fit very well and is not too heavy. Would have given it a 5 star rating but it has not yet been cold enough to give it a real warmth test.

    Great All Around Jacket
    I needed a new jacket for everyday stuff. The only winter coat I had last year was a nice peacoat, but it was too formal for things like just shoveling the driveway. This coat is crazy warm, and the hoodie is a big plus. I walk a lot in the mornings, so not having to take a hat along with me, that I will just take off as I warm up, is a plus. Pockets are descent size, the zipper breast pocket is a nice add. The length is a bit longer than I expected. Washes well, but the outer lining will dry a lot faster than the fleece material.

    Awesome Gear!
    When it's cold most of the time, you are not sure how much clothing you need to really keep you warm. The first time I tried the Wells Lamont Men's Quilted Shirt Jacket, I was amazed by the kind of warmth I got inside and how comfortable it feels wearing it. The design is fabulous, with all kinds of pockets for stuff like pens and cell phones. As well as the two side pockets for warming of your hands. I would recommend this Lined Flex Canvas Jacket to anyone in search of high quality and very durable jacket to beat that cold weather

    Great outdoor work or field jacket
    Walmart sent me this black and gray work jacket to review during a hot spell along the Colorado Front Range. I did go to the mountains to test it where the night time temperature was in the lower forties. The jacket is a combination of a very heavy hooded sweat shirt with a strong windbreaker exterior sewn over. The two in combination create a very warm and comfy work jacket. The exterior is strong and stretchy so you can easily flex your arms while working. The exterior has a snap closure over the zipper to keep out the wind. The jacket is finger length. There are two large slash pockets on the lower front large enough to hold heavy work gloves or mittens. The thick hood has a drawstring to pull the hood around your face. The inside of the jacket body is quilted for extra warmth. There is an inside left breast pocket deep enough to hold my iPhone eight-plus. There are two exterior pockets on each side of the chest large enough to hold a pack of cigarettes. Above the left exterior pocket is an additional zippered pocket that would securely hold your cash or I.D. while working. The sleeves have knit cuffs that are not too tight that you can't get them over your work gloves. The only improvement I would recommend is a Velcro closure strip on the inside pocket and offer the jacket in florescent orange so I could take it hunting.

    Warm and flexible Work-Wear
    This jacket is the perfect thing for working outside. It is tough, warm, and flexible enough to move around in. The outer material is a tough but flexible canvas material. The inside is fleece, but not over done. It has an inner pocket. The hood fits perfect and is light but warm. The hood tightens up with strings. I've always called this type of material, “Work-wear.” It's stylish enough for everyday wearing and goes with anything you have on. I like it a lot and would definitely recommend this jacket.

    Excellent quality jacket
    I was needing a coat for the winter, and I Was lucky enough to get this jacket. It is quilted inside very warm and comfy. Canvas on the outside any will repel a light rain. Perfect size hoodie this is the all in one jacket for sure. Two of my friends saw it and they already want one. It has the inside pocket which is a must for all guys! Ha ha I got mine a size larger, because I like my clothes to be a little baggiy. Looks like it's going to last me forever as long as the zipper holds up.

    Plenty of insulation without the bulk
    I have a fairly large shop and it gets pretty cold in the winter but I don't stop working because of the lack of temperature. I spot heat wherever I happen to be working, but my main piece of gear in the battle with the cold is my jacket. I have some specific requirements for this piece of apparel: It must be warm, it must be durable, and it must be reasonably easy to move around in while I'm wearing it. This Wells Lamont jacket fulfills all of those needs. As far as durability, this jacket appears to be constructed with the same no nonsense methods that Wells Lamont has employed in their work gloves for years. I have owned many pairs and will generally lose one of their gloves long before it's even close to being worn out. I suspect this will hold true for their jackets as well. The warmth is taken care of with a nice, quilted lining and a soft fleece lined hood. You can button up AND zip up if you happen to be out in the wind. The wrists have an elastic cuff that help keep the warmth in. There are multiple storage pockets throughout the jacket as well as a pair of hand warming pockets. I ordered this jacket one size big since I usually wear a heavy shirt underneath my regular coats and I have to be able to move fairly unrestricted. I could probably have gotten away with ordering my regular size since I feel a heavy shirt may be completely unnecessary with this jacket. I'm very happy with this product.

    I'm very surprised at the quality of this jacket
    I received this about a week ago but I was not home when it arrived so it sat on my table in a box until I opened it a couple days ago. (Please forgive the wrinkles you see in the picture). It's very warm in Kentucky right now so I did not try to wear it immediately. We did have a lot of rain and the air conditioning made the apartment very cool so I thought I would try it on to see what it was capable of. It's a very warm, well fitting jacket. Soft fleece inner lining makes it very comfortable against the skin. In spite of the typically rugged reputation, the canvas outer shell was not rough feeling but rather more like soft denim and kind of stretches a little in thanks to the Spandex like you see in some of the higher end jeans of today. The elastic cuffs have a soft feel and seal out drafts or excessive wind keeping you even warmer. This is a very well made garment with no loose threads hanging off seams or corner stitching. The hood is also very soft and nice fitting rather than oversized and loose. The zipper is supported by snap buttons to add an extra layer of wind protection. Very very nice! The strings and fabric accents are made of the same material as your favorite hoodie or sweatshirt with an added super soft Sherpa lining. I really can't say enough about the feel of this thing. It came very well packaged, box wasn't all beat up or exposed to water or moisture but it was also in an airtight plastic bag for extra protection. I really do love this and can foresee that this will be one of my late fall or winter favorites. I got this free in order to try it out and review it but I would definitely buy one! Awesome jacket!

    A lot of jacket for the money
    This jacket has a lot to offer. It has a tough, durable canvas outside with a soft quilted very warm inside. It has two pockets for your hands to slip into plus 2 pockets with snaps and another pocket with a zipper on the front. It has a hoodie with drawstring tie. It has snaps up the front plus a zipper. This would be a good jacket for a very cold and/or windy days. I can't imagine ever needing anything more unless you're going somewhere where it's 30 below. I got the 2X size which fits me perfectly. I am 5'11” tall and weigh 300 pounds. I think this jacket is a real bargain for the price which is why I gave it five stars. Quality materials, well-made and a low price.
