Perfection!
I purchased the blanket for our king size bed. It is beautifully made and is generously sized! It is so warm and cozy...and just what we were looking for! I highly recommend it!

Strong chemical smell
The blanket has a terrible chemical smell. I have washed it twice and it still smells. It even makes my room smell like chemicals.

    Vellux Blankets Not the Same As They Used to be
    I used to buy Vellux blankets at Walmart off the shelf, and then I couldn't find them anywhere anymore. I was happy to see I could order some new ones from Walmart online. However....these are not the same quality or thickness of the blankets like I used to buy. In fact, I washed them after I got them and lint or pieces came off in my washer

    Not warm enough
    I bought a Vellux Blanket from Walmart and when we use it at night, the Aircondition air seeps inside the blanket and making our feet cold in the middle of the night. I thought Vellux Blanket is a warm blanket. I like the texture and quality of it, but useless in keeping us warm during the night.

    A great product that I'll continue to buy through the years.
    I've used WestPoint Vellux blankets for many years. They provide great warmth during the winter without heaviness, and provide just the right amount of coverage on spring and fall nights. This will always be a staple in our home as long as they are manufactured.

    Cheap stuff,keeps shedding has many bald spots!
    It keeps shedding and I will have to throw it out! It has several bald spots now! Don't purchase , it's not like the Vellux blanket from long ago!

    Great for Camping over sleeping bag on cold nights
    Don't know how they do it, but these blankets really work great! Camping in cold nights just put one of these over your sleeping bag and your good. Keeps you nice and warm.

    Vellux blanket
    Great Light weight blanket and warm. Downside is that these do not last long even if you rarely wash it and never use the dryer. The bonding well start to disintegrate.
