Great product! Super easy to use and great taste.
I picked this up to try before the xmas season came around with all the cookie decorating I usually do. I was so pleased, nothing easier than spooning it out into a bowl. I added a bit of water to make it the consistency of outline piping and outlined all the cookies. When they hardened I spooned more Royal Icing into bowls and added a bit more water this time along with each bowl's food coloring just to the consistency of flooding. I do not like using squeeze bottles and used a spoon instead to pour into the outlines. I left them to dry overnight and they were perfectly hardened the next day when I piped designs on with a bit more outlining piping and then added sparkling sugars, quinns, etc. Beautiful!

    The Royal Icing was good quality, but the white arrived with a cracked seal and was dried out. I was able to revive it with a bit of milk.

    So much easier to work with than home-made royal icing!
    This ready-made royal icing behaves a little bit differently than the home-made Wilton recipe. Took a little bit of getting used to, but on the whole I find it so much easier to work with. It takes longer to dry, but that means you don't have to keep it covered as you work, and you have more time to touch up tails or mistakes. It also seems to settle and smooth out better than home-made. It takes color well. It's a bit stiff, but I just mix in a few drops of water to get an easy-to-pipe consistency. It lasts a long time in the piping bag or in the container without drying out. Overall, I am very pleased with this, and I may just stop making the home-made stuff!

    Handy for smaller royal icing jobs
    Good product. I hate making Royal Icing myself, so this is very handy. It's a fairly small quantity, though - maybe half or a third of a batch you'd make yourself. The consistency is on the stiff side. I used it to make Color Flow. The icing left in the container stayed fresh till the next day. The only thing I would change is maybe drop the price a little. I'd like to see this available in stores too, not just online - I hope that will happen soon.
