This item is perfect for Christmas cookies and cupcakes, it worked SO well and tasted SO good and SO fresh. The consistency was exactly what I wanted. I would recommend refrigerating for a short amount of time before actually being used. I also used sprinkles and sanding sugar, each combination worked great. Received quickly and packaged well. I will use this product again and again.

It's okay
This was just okay icing. It would be more ideal for someone running a business than for a family (unless you're making a big portion of something needing icing). While the texture was soft, I simply was not a fan of the way it tasted. So nothing actually wrong, just not a flavor for me. Otherwise, it was well packed and looked presentable.

    Great taste
    This icing has a great taste. We used it to make cupcakes and they turned out delicious. Red velvet cupcakes tasted the best with this icing. My 3 year old ate the icing off the cupcake then asked for more. Icing warmed up well after refrigeration. Will definitely use this icing again.

    This tub of frosting is perfect for decorating!!
    Who doesn't need a big tub of frosting???? This is so perfect for all the cookie and cake decorating! We made an adorable gingerbread house decorating kit and filled two big frosting bags with this! We also used food coloring to decorate dozens of cookies, and cup cakes too! Tastes pretty good for not being homemade and will last much longer for gift giving! The perfect tool for holiday baking!!

    Upon arrival of this product I was skeptical when first opening the tub, it looked...welll, yucky. But stuck my finger in to try it and boy it was yuuuummmmm. This is professional icing quality such as when you get a cake from the bakery. It is very buttery and smooth which made it easy to work with for mixing in food coloring and then applying to the cookies. That is how I used the icing so far is for icing cookies. Having such yummy icing that is easy to work with I am going to be baking a lot this Christmas! I am so excited!!! I have always wanted to try the decorative piping icing kits and now I am inspired.

    Whipped?
    I'm big on textures and for me this one wasn't my favorite. While the actual icing tasted good, the texture seemed as though it were whipped. It stated cream icing on the tub, but it was too whipped for me. The icing was very white and would be great for adding color for cakes and cookies, etc. The icing did not go to waste, I sent it to my mother hoping for baked goods in the future.

    Wilton 4lb tub of white decorator icing makes frosting cakes, cookies and cupcakes during the holidays, so much easier. A medium consistancy, you can frost two 8 inch 2 layer cakes, three 9x13in cakes, or 64 cupcakes. It comes in makes it easier if you are throwing a large party, like a school Christmas party for cookie decorating, or function. You can make it stiffer for borders, or flowers by adding confectioners sugar a tsp at a time until you get the consistency you need, and add Wilton color, or flavors. I recommend it.

    I make almost all the cakes for my family and this icing was awesome! Not only was I able to frost 2 multi tier cakes With out having to buy a ton of frostings, But it's not overly sweet which is great. The taste is great.

    I always use this product.
    The way I use this product, I spoon into a mixing bowl, the amount needed. Whip on med/high. I add a pinch of salt(makes it not as sugary), and stiffened whip creme. Keep in fridge, covered.
