I wouldn't buy this product unless the ambiguity is resolved
I'm disappointed that only the box indicates that its contents are freezer bags, i.e., the bags themselves don't indicate that they're freezer bags. Why ? I see that you also make storage bags. Are those bags stamped as "storage bags" ? I think you should make it clear to consumer to have either bag properly marked.

Quality has gone down.
I've used ziplock for years, now I'm looking for a new brand. The new "easy tabs" rip from the bag making it nearly impossible to open. The quality of the plastic has down down and more than half the time now they leak. Hopefully they make some changes soon.

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/22/2016Poor QualityI used to always use the Ziploc Freezer bags with the double zipper (quart and gallon) to freeze and store food in the refrigerator and freezer. I recently started using the bags with the easy open tabs but the quality of the bags has really depreciated. It seems like every other bag will leak as soon as I put anything with liquid in them. Doubling the bag only works some times. They are leaking from the bottom of the bag and not the zippered area. I'm afraid to freeze raw meat because when it comes time to defrost it, the blood leaks out all over the refrigerator shelves. The plastic also seems more stiff and not as pliant as they used to be.Tia129

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/28/2015So Disappointed!!Ziploc has ALWAYS been my "go to" bags when freezing. I have been a Ziploc user for years, especially when canning/freezing season comes in. Recently, I ran out of the older freezer bags I had in stock, and had to buy the new ones. What happened?! I pulled a bag out of the box, and had to look twice to be sure I had picked up the correct ones. They are SO much thinner, had holes in the first 2 I pulled out of the box, and they don't seal as well as the older ones. Epic fail!!! I will be returning the new stock I just bought, (pint, quart and gallon bags) and looking for another brand.Goodbye_Ziploc

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/24/2015Ziploc Gallon Freezer Bags with Easy Open Tabs LeakI have used Ziploc Freezer Bags for years and never had a problem... until now. The new Ziploc Freezer Bags with the easy open tabs leak. They will not hold a seal. I have been through a half of a box and have yet to get a good seal and they tear very easily at the top of the bag. This used to be a great product. I would not recommend this product to anyone now. In fact I would recommend not buying it at all now.UnhappyTexan

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/22/2015no longer a tough bagMy wife was breading chicken as she has done for years with the gallon freezer bags (because they were tough) when the bottom split and dumped everything out. You can see the weak spot in every bag in the box. Rolling a bit of air in a new bag will cause a failure along the weak spot as if the bag was cut. If JJ cares to see this problem I have photos or will send the bags to you. I hope this is a bad batch and not common.Richard
