Durability to coastal weather remains to be seen.
So far we like them. We shall see how the color holds up and hardware does in a coastal environment

Hallow plastic material earns one star, return: 5
These are hallow plastic pieces, which appeared in descriptions to be more like many other teak or manufactured wood-like materials. Instead it was molded plastic made to look like wood from the mold and very far from durability. We took one look after the initial unboxing and began the return process.
Getting them to a store wasn't easy, but the customer service and return process was handled wonderfully by our local store.

It came in earlier than what it was supposed to and it was so easy to put together. It only 20 minutes and it looks even better in person. It's a very sturdy chair and very comfortable. My husband is 6'2 and he said he felt comfortable sitting in it. I was so pleased I went ahead and ordered four more. Same as before; came in earlier than original delivery date, no problems putting together. They were reasonably priced and states a long wear time so we will see. All I have left to do is decorate the space with plants, couple of tables and lights and we are good to go! We are so far very pleased with our purchase!Lizette

Flipping the legs or changing left to right wasnt the solution. Disappointing purchase. The chairs are heavy, but the plastic is soft and easily scratched. I wouldnt recommend these.faith

I gave the chairs four stars because it takes two people to put them together. My husband and I took awhile trying to out the first one together, but after that one we put the other three together in about an hour and a half.Sasha

I went with the slate gray color and the color is perfect, the chairs are easy to assemble, and very sturdy and have good weight to it. Can't wait for our first night by the fire pit. I would recommend not tighten the screw till the back and arms are on and then tighten everything. Will definitely purchase 2 more for my front porch - love them and definitely well worth it and you can't be the price!!Belinda

The color is actually a very modern light slate blue, or gray-ish sky blue. I actually prefer these. They are more Pottery Barn serene than artsy looking. But what a huge difference from what I expected. Somebody else commented similarly, theirs was supposed to be red but was orange-ish.jacqueline

Extremely comfortable and durable. Color is exactly like you see on the site. Can't beat the Price! Makes our beachy outdoor seating/fire pit area super cozy. The faux wood is pretty cool, color isn't just on the outer layer, its through and through We had only a minor glitch that customer service handled very promptly.
